What about if you have a credit limit on a business card that’s smaller than your personal card is there a way to get that personal credit limit used up without affecting your utilization score ? I thought I saw someone mention a HACK

when i was younger Amazon card wasnt made yet (they had the Merchant card but thats only IN HOUSE purchases like Malls have) but the Amazon Visa can be used anywhere Visa is accepted. ive already done product conversions back when slate was a thing yet after its intro period for balance transfer i changed it into Freedom unlimited. My question is, can I convert and 0 out the card or is that considered "closing an account" personally, I hate the card for usage but I keep it since it was my 1st credit card, so it holds my oldest credit history. I guess knocking it down to $200, its starting balance when it opened would be an ironic ordeal.

There are several benefits mainly giving you more purchasing power without a hard inquiry to increase your credit limit on an existing account, and allowing you to earn more rewards on that particular card while still benefiting from the 0% introduction rate for 12 to 21 months on a newly opened account.

Typically credit card companies allow you to transfer up to 75% of your avaliable credit to a newer card issued by the same bank.

Because you can accumulate debt on a 0% APY card, and use that debt to make money interest free.

Also you don't want more than 30% utilization. Even your highest utilized card affects your score, so you don't wanna max out the 0% apr card.

Credit limits can be transferred between personal cards and from personal to business cards, but not from business to personal cards

I tried this and worked like a charm…moved 20K from freedom & Freedom unlimited to my 15months 0% interest freedom flex card and started spending away 😂
