My sister doesn't want me to go gray with my wigs. But during this pandemic year I grew out and trimmed off all my thin receded and dyed hair color and find I'm obsessed with viewing every gray wig review out there. I especially love the trendy new gray cuts n styles. Can we talk about Warm Cool Neutral in gray? I'm even becoming inured by the sofistication of new combinations of red violets, purples and lavenders some labels and independents are floating ❗

I've worn wigs for many many years, mostly out of laziness doing my own hair every morning for work and I can't stand looking the same!!! Depending on what I'm wearing I like to completely change my look. I wore them for so long all of a sudden I realized I had a couple inches of grey and decided to grow it out. Now I'm completely silver n have 7 silver grey wigs in different styles. I love them! No more dying, problem solved😍

Hi Taz😘 in all my years doing wigs in the salon and looking at models in catalogs or even watching videos of wig wearers I have never seen anyone who could wear more styles and colors and look so good in all styles as you! Girl what doesn’t look good on you! Never known anyone to look good in all the colors that you wore. I was salt and pepper but decided to finally dye my hair didn’t come out like the color on the box. I was using organic. Loved it looked auburn. What I have left from chemo is a silvery gray. By the way. I bought Holland Lol so big on me, you warned us the bangs covered my eyes Love real deal by Raquel Welch. Styled it just a bit with my fingers and it came out like your. My husband prefers this one.❤️🙏❤️💐

I hate it when they root the greys...its like the opposite of how greys usually grow lol. I'm transitioning to grey at 43 and this transition is brutal, especially with super dark dyed hair

There was a time when gray hair meant - “old.” But in recent years twenty year olds started wearing grey-silver-platinum colors. They have turned the tide on the meaning of grey colors. When you match a grey with a youthful style, you immediately take off decades. No time in history has ever been more positive and youthful as it currently is. I’m loving the blondes that are hard to distinguish between ashy blonde and grey… keeps them guessing about my age;)

Just my subject! I am going grey ... but I have had my hairdresser color and highlight! But my hair is thinning especially on top! Would just like to grow it out. You sure have help me a lot with your suggestions. My normal color was a light brown and had a few auburn highlights that showed more when I had a perm ... gave my ugly straight hair the curls I loved! But it is straight now! I know if I have it grow out and turn original grey ... I can get a perm sometimes and have a little body and curls! Then get more wigs! Lol I really want Storm! Love it! IT IS THE NEW PLATINUM! WHITES THE NEW BLONDES! Eventually if we all live long enough we will be white haired ... my Mother was ... passed away at 89. But her hair was a beautiful color! Thanks again! Thanks Taz for this video. My mom's hair turned completely white when she was in her late 40s, she had beautiful hair. People who didn't know her thought she bleached her hair. But since this covid, i have decided to go grey, my hair isn't white, but it is a lighter grey. Love the color wigs that you showed, I'm also hoping to find some long toppers in those colors as well. Btw, you also look great in those red wigs, very pretty on you. Great video, Taz. 💕

Taz, I've looked at all of the grey's offered by wig companies and they are all either FASHION GREYS, OR BLAND GREYS LIKE OLD LADIES USED TO TINT THEIR GREY HAIR BLUE!!! The ONLY natural looking grey is a TRUE SALT AND PEPPER called DARK GREY (44/56/60) . It's a soft black with white streaks. It's made by Tress Allure in Picture Perfect. Strangely, they don't offer it in any of their other wigs!!! I bought 10 Picture Perfect because of this. There are so many blondes but really nothing natural looking like this DARK GREY 44 56 60!! There's a huge market for this shade because of the aging Spanish, Mexican, Asian, Italian women who desperately need a natural looking grey like THIS!! And we would like them in longer wigs, not just the short and medium styles.

I have been wanting to know this too since I've finally got some noticeable grey & white hair in my bangs, crown and starting to get a little in my face framing hairs on my natural dark brown hair and my hubby really loves it and is always telling me I love it please don't dye the grey and since I'm wanting to transition to wearing wigs, or toppers for the first time due to my Alopecia Areata Nervosa, Autoimmune Thyroid disease and aging hair loss and I want to get some new pony/messy bun/ updo hair pieces in grey and brunette tones as well this video is so helpful! ❤ The majority of my hair is still a dark brown but I've been looking for wigs with both grey and dark brown tones in one wig that look like its my natural hair color going grey to embrace the grey transition as I stopped coloring my hair once a year about 2 or 3 years ago after dying it once a year for about 3 or 4 years when a tiny bit of grey and white hair first started coming in. My wig hair goals are two toned brown and grey wigs and also a pink and grey and maybe I'll try a grey and lavender cuz I love fun colors. I also like the dark brown with carmel and grey highlights. I'm actually one of the brunettes who has never went blonde or had the desire too I've always loved my natural dark brunette hair but about 2 years ago I made a big mistake with my natural hair and bought a home dye that is suppose to take brunettes from brunette to a platinum and my 2nd worst hair fear happened my hair turned orange so after a few weeks so I didn't over process my hair or cause it all to fall out (my #1 worst hair fear) I dyed it a plumb brown then let that grow out til my natural color came back in and the only reason I tried the dye to take my hair from brunette to platinum is because I wanted to rock the midnight mermaid or oil slick hair color a dark brown or brown violet color for the base with pops of pink, teal, subtle dark green, purple, blue, and raspberry foils. I should've just bought a dyeable platinum wig and dyed it to what I wanted or bought the clip in hair extensions in the pops of foil colors I wanted and just dyed my hair a dark violet or brown color and clipped the colored extensions in. Lesson learned the hard way. After only recently discovering wig videos and watching several of your and others wig videos I should've just got wigs especially since Im not a salon hair colorist. I know my Grandmother one of my Aunt's and Mama wore wigs. I just always thought it was their natural hair and they all got blessed with beautiful perfect hair. Turns out they all had very thin baby fine straight hair just like me. But I didn't know for years they were wearing wigs cuz back in their days most women kept wearing wigs a secret. They would love all these wigs and videos if they were still here but I can feel them telling me from Heaven Girl those wigs would look so cute on you get the wigs and rock them proud girl.

Started to buy one with light color through it ... but chicken out! lol I am growing my gray out ... perfect wig to put on and cover the ugly two tone!

i was hoping to see MORE ACTUAL "GRAYS", wigstudio1 doesn't show many of the grays on a model and some of the swatches can be deceiving like RW's SUGARED LICORICE whose swatch looks black but is a variegated gray, black, silver wig. SOME are not variegated at all and so a GRAY VIDEO would be awesome! (or a feature on their site)

Salt and pepper, yes. But as far as length, no. Very few gray wigs come in a longer length. So disappointing that wig companies think that just because we are gray, we need to stick to short hair. I like my gray hair and I like it shoulder length or a bit longer. Maybe someday they will acknowledge we exist.

What about those with black hair, like BLACK. I can't face looking like a skunk with a white root stripe and I need advice!!

Oh, my favorite is Tony of Beverly's Sandstone, rooted or not. It is so, so natural! I adore that color. It's fabulous as a transition color to gray or even as the final step, that ashy dark blonde, but it's not yellow ashy or gray, very dynamic. Of course Raquel Welch's SS Cappuccino is also a nice one, that ash really helps. Rene of Paris Ice Blonde is another one that really veers into Gray-blonde. I will say that Mimosa HL does not appear that way on a straight style like Khloe, unless they have changed that color a lot . I had it and it was like a warm blonde. Just a heads up for the viewers. I wish wig dedigns would consider doing the roots grey rather than dark roots with grey ends which is very unnatural looking. Most people with grey hair don't have dark roots.

The problem with gray wigs is that they have dark roots. That’s not how people’s hair transition. The roots and most of the length of the hair should be gray and the ends should be darker.
