How can you Ensure that your Travel is Safe?
The First Three Points Are.
Social Distancing,
Masking
Hand Sanitization
My major concern is that cancer patients who are on chemotherapy, it is very important for them to avoid infection. Social distancing, masking and hand sanitization are the three most important things to keep your travel safe.
To maintain Social distancing, if you are traveling by air, it is very important that you keep your handbag very light.
Pack Your Own Snack and Wear a Mask.
If wearing a mask reduces the overall virus particles, then definitely your immunity gets time and you can save a major infection or respiratory infection.
If you are traveling by train, there should be someone with you who will take care of your luggage.
The fourth point is whatever medications or prescriptions you are taking you should take care of it and keep some SOS medications on top and don't keep it in your main luggage and if you are traveling by train then all the stuff will be with you but keep a doctor's
prescription and before you leave ask your doctor what SOS medications are required and keep that list ready.
Many times, your oncologist will have some such references in the city, where they can give you references in advance.
Generally what I also advise my patients, that you don't go there and wait for an emergency. Do not wait for an emergency.
So with these 5 points, I think you can travel safely. and travel only after consulting your onco-physician or physician.
