Hi Heather, Im from Perth Western Australia. Aged 52, 53 next month. I LOVE All your informative short Videos. They have been immensely helpful, extremely Valuable which I am Truly Grateful. Hi I’m in surgical menopause and first started on oral Estrogen 0.5 mg then I was still having hot flashes etc then my dr increased it to 0.75 mg daily. The oral med wasn’t helping the vaginal symptoms. Dryness is a big problem that then leads to itching. I’m on Estrace vag cream twice a week. It is messy and it kinda works but I don’t know. I’m in Cincinnati, Ohio. Thanks for your videos. I see my reg ob/gyn and I have a urogynecologist for stress incont and interstitial cystitis. In about a month I’m getting the bladder sling done.

Dr Hirsch, have other women mentioned they will break out in sweat after urination? The night and day sweats, I guess they are hot flashes ,and this are new to me. It doesn't last but minutes but strange.

Is it formulated with coconut oil? What else? I just started Estrace but there are a lot of preservatives formulated along with the estradiol which I'm not too happy about. Can you tell me what the "ingredient" list is for IMEXXY? Thanks.

I just got Imvexxy. It didn’t cost me much at all. I actually have great cost coverage. It’s extremely small capsule and totally loving the coconut oil. I will say I’m starting on the starter of course. I really want to take it out of the blister and put into a bottle though.

My wife, who is 74 yrs old and has dementia, was referred to a gyn urologist after he was not able to treat my wife’s problem of frequent urination urges and not being able to empty her bladder fully. The Gyn urologist diagnose this as rectocele without uterine prolapse. This was attributed to constipation for which she prescribed adding fiber to the diet and laxatives for which responding to. The gyn urologist also diagnosed genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) after physical exam findings of vulvivaginal atrophy and prescribed Estring 2mg vaginal ring because she would probably forget to use the creams or “jelly bean”. My question is the GSM the cause of her initial problem and is there an oral medication rather than the Estring ring treatment ($583 for 3months w/insurance)?
