Tick fever is a very common disease in the canine world, we regularly see cases in our day to day life.
The only complication of this disease is a late diagnosis by owners or vet due to the poor history of patients.
The main causative agents are :
1.Babesia canis
2.Babesia gibsoni
3.Ehrlichia canis
.
Typical symptoms are variable fever which changes many times in a day
-Nasal bleeding
-Pain in legs
-Discoloration of eyes
-Lethargy
Treatment includes doxycycline 10 mg per kg of body weight
