Women are far more eternally influenced than men. Pastor just summarized my recent observation about men and women. As a man, your GF/wife's circle of friends is part of the marriage because they significantly influence how she feels about herself and you, and whether or not she's contented with what you can provide. Men on the other hand are more stuck in their ways and habitual. Once they establish a pattern that is convenient for them, they stick to it. It can be observed in the way they dress, groom their hair, what they eat and drink, their beliefs and ideologies etc.
