Whilst we cannot go to our local hair salon we thought we could give you some fringe cutting tips! Here is a guide to safely and easily trim a fringe using thinning scissors. Nicky then finishes the style by adding volume and texture to the rest of the hair 💛

THANK YOU! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ During quarantine I cut my own hair for the first time ever (Like so many others 😁) I am a salon only girl and I was very overdue for an appointment. Being brave I took off 6 inches, created long/medium blended layers & added bangs. (All from KZfaq tutorials - I have no experience.) Very slowly BUT successfully - I achieved my new look over a week of adjustments and my hair looks and feels great. *However* the only real complaint I had was thickness/density, so I purchased some thinning scissors hoping that will help somewhat AND this tutorial has finalized my look!!!!! So grateful 🙏❤️👍

Just don’t OVER thin! And don’t do it more than 2” away from your scalp 🤪

@@kathyh4804 Very true statement! I don't have straight hair - so I made sure I went very lightly (A lot of researching involved to remove that density). I have gone to my salon since reopening however I still enjoy doing my own home maintenance. 💯

I once saw you Nicky, walking through Victoria Station, wearing one of your trademark (telly) suits in brown pinstripe.. it would have been about 1996 when I was at Art College... Back then, I was using your shampoo and conditioner religiously, before it was sadly discontinued... I was a major fan girl! xXx 😎🖤🖤🖤🖤

Very helpful video I have very thick wavy hair (bit like Nickys). After 2 months I want (need) to buy some thinning scissors but so unsure what to buy. Any recommendations please??

I'm watching this vid with caption on and volume off due to sleeping baby. Anywho, at the 7:14 mark it says "insert perverts"....lol. Um, I'm sure that's not what you said. But, I found it pretty funny.

I just bought some thinning scissors for this exact reason and I tried a tester bit of hair and they didn’t do anything! but I think I’m doing it wrong...gonna brave it and try my fringe on Saturday🥺Thank you Mr C

Love Nicky Clarke Top hair stylist. There is no way I would attempt cutting my hair what a mess I would make. I would love to have my hair cut in Nicky's salon but I'm a pensioner cost too much❤️
