I cannot get my amplifier to reach 17.5 volts for the first step. Everything is set correctly on my head unit and the amplifiers before I begin. I have triple checked everything and gone through these instructions several times and the average voltage I get is 10-12 volts before my sensitivity knob maxes out. Anybody else have this issue? Help please!!

Why target to 17.5 volts on the multimeter? Shouldn't it be closer to 13.5 to 14.5 volts? (3:45 min mark)

Actually, at 1Khz should be about 18 volts, but we are leaving some headroom (aftermarket head units / stock units we tune higher) for different output levels from the different audio sources. At 80hz, the output will actually be closer to 20 volts (A/C) (100 watts RMS). Maybe you are confusing the charging system's 12V DC anticipated voltage (BTW most Toyotas charging system are roughly 13.6VDC) vs . . the amplifier output AC voltage?
