Years ago I used to work on the TV show COPS. We were filming something simple one night for the website and they caught someone jaywalking right up to where we were. They were going to let the guy go with a warning but he was being belligerent and long story short, they found drugs on the guy and he had warrants out of multiple states so he was arrested. I remember talking to the cops about this and they told me that they deal with this kind of thing on a regular basis. One cop said something really interesting though. He said, "What most people don't realize is that there is a large portion of our population made up of people who just are not that smart. They think they are, but they really are not." If you look up the Dunning-Kruger effect, that explains it. It explains this woman perfectly.

After so many of these videos tells me that maybe these people are seriously that stupid. Completely unaware that their actions are the reason that it has turned into a big deal. No dumba•• this isn’t about a revoked license. This is because you led the police on a high speed chase then crashed into a tree and resisted/refused to get out of the car. Not to mention the charges that came after the cops got you out and started their investigation.
