I am just starting in turning so I appreciate your detailed explanations. As a very experienced photographer though, I have a tip. When trying to show a deep hole to the camera try shining a light from the opposite side. A torch/flashlight should work nicely.

Hi Brian, I am afraid we don't have a video but do have this article - www.axminstertools.com/ideas-advice/woodturn-table-lamp/ We do recommend you seek the advice of an experienced electrician to carry out the wiring on your lamp.

Hi there, this should be deep enough to take any cord clamp you choose to use, in this case this was about 25mm. Hope this helps

what were the sizes of the spindle shaft and the base ?

Hi John, the project blank sizes were - Spindle 18" x 2 1/2" Base 8" x 2 3/4"
