In the recent versions of PS if you are saving in to other formats like .PNG or JPEG. You should choose the "Save a Copy" not the "Save As" option. In the "Save as Copy" option is where all the other file formats options are, like PNG. So Adobe is like given us other way to save our files. Hope that helps Sir Bryan. Depending on the file size or the mode it allows you to change to png. so if you in a 32bit channel you might not be able to save as png

Thanks for the great tutorial! I don't know if anyone has mentioned it in the comments, but if you press CTRL + ALT + S (File > Save a Copy), that will give you the drop-down menu with png and other formats as before in previous versions of PS.

File Save As > Save As Copy. Then it gives you all the options. Idk why it's making us go through that extra step.
