I never done IR photography before but now i see why people like it, its almost like magic effect, i think its better to mod something cheap for now then maybe we can go to modding dslr...but so far this IR photo is absolutely amazing

So I did this mod and it works great. But I'm having problems with the little tab that holds the battery in. It popped out and I'm having a hard the figuring out how to assemble that portion again to keep the battery in.

But you can do this with $20 cameras why would you destroy a really expensive camera?

The reson i'd like to do it with a better camera is the quality of the pictures...especially a DSLR...but that's a bit too much to mess with...

@@OMNITEK I thought about that after I had asked you the question. I actually got two cameras in the mail today. I’m gonna do the same thing with, but they’re very cheap. Just something to play around with.

@@SouthernSummoners if you do this, i suggest you find some of those rings with IR Leds on them...you will love it...i am planning to do such a mod soon...they're quite cheap on Amazon...i can send you a link if you want to take a look at the IR leds...100% game changer when paired with a camera we're modding
