Interesting approach! Never seen that before, also been working with FL for a few years casually and didn't know you could make groups of instruments and channels in the mixer, that was ultra educational, a small detail maybe but I never seen anyone else explaining that

love the video, curious to why you recorded in your drums as they are already in the channel rack? nonetheless, great tips much love

Well, I dragged the drum sounds into the channel rack to make a pattern. But instead of making the pattern in the channel rack normally, I recorded it as Midi within the channel rack. This allowed me to be more precise with the drums since the sample wasn't 100 percent on the grid.

can't believe I did not realize this was how you use serato. Do you know of anything that would rival directwave? I mean you can use 2 or more samples and make a new sound. I can not for the life of me find anything that is similar.
