Here's a little summary for you: 1. Figure out the thing you need to do to get what you want. 2. Make that thing known to you, 3. And make it into a habit by doing it for atleast for at least 30 days 4. Figure out the trigger, action, reward for the habit to drill it into your brain. 5. And then stick at it and practice untill it becomes and instinct 6. Actually do the work!

4 Stages of Mastery: 1. Unconscious Incompetence 2. Conscious Incompetence 3. Conscious Competence 4. Interesting when you mentioned Koby, my first thought as an Italian and a keen student of history was, hey that's exactly what Leonardo da Vinci did. He slept in cycles of 3 hours, then worked, then after then slept another 3 hours and so on. It's in his own writings, he too considered the 24 hour day as a constraint to be able to do the amount of work he wanted to get done. So hacked the system to his favour, if he had followed normal sleep/wake cycles he could have never achieved the incredible amount of work he did, especially since back then life spans were shorter than today. I love your videos. Lucas

Sometimes we might look at outcome of an action before its being taken out without looking straight into the pain that carrying that action out concerns. This brings us into what I call as the self unempowering spiral, because in the end you end up paralized and end up not carrying the action out. Watch out for the unempowering spiral and you will be happy for the rest of your life.

Another top notch video Sam. You really have the gift of breaking down seemingly formidable issues into easily digestible advice and clear step-by-step actions. You are a gem! I also had an AHA moment as I watched this video....the very same ways we must wire out brains to make hard things base instinct (trigger-action-reward) are what we use reinforce negative thinking. We know we want to change our lives (trigger) so we buy your course to help us achieve that (action) and when we experience failure in the early stages of say our sales calls, we can get stuck / paralyzed with fear which reinforces our negative thinking that we're not capable (reward). Again, thank you for your light in this world Sam!

Your videos are extremely helpful. You really demystify things in a way that almost no one else does in public. I would guess that it would be because either they buy into the overly complicated version of how people accomplish things because they think it reflects well on them (i.e., I'm good because I'm special) or at the very least they want other people to think they're special (i.e., you could never do this, you're not special like me). For people that really get bogged down in over thinking things and trying to figure out how to get rid of that feeling of resistance by performing some magic mental operation in my head (which never gets anywhere, or, actually, is counterproductive), the explanation you provide in this video and the way you state it is such a huge relief. In an age in which we're all kind of drowning in self-help and motivational material, your take on things really provides something unique and I suspect much more useful in the long run. And it's actually pretty radical in a lot of ways too, a very radical application of essential logic and common sense (which is probably one of the hardest things to do in a lot of ways, and pretty much equates to wisdom, from my perspective). Really wonderful stuff. This is a great service you're providing and I really appreciate it (as I'm sure others do as well).
