dude I KNOW you hear this all the time... but I am literally almost in tears and I am half way through your video. it just adjusted me pretty good just putting my arm out and turning. I was in a 6-8 time rollover on a freeway where luckily no one else was injured. but ever since that day I have had crazy back issues which turned into hip and neck and shoulder issues now. but your videos have helped so much and I have barely done anything yet. I am keeping at them though. but seriously that one little adjustment released years of tension. my accident was a decade ago now... i am very twisted in both directions it seems. the harder version as you say. i am CONSTANTLY adjusting my back and neck. It must be so annoying to other people. I wish I could get a consultation with you so bad. Literally just tearing up thinking about it. You have the BEST BEST BEST content for this stuff. I have been looking for years. no one comes close and your stuff is SO EASY. You just have the knowledge that others don't. I have seen SO MANY doctors about my issues. Wherever you trained... man. They are amazing. I hope I can meet you one day for a session. I am going to look into it. Keep it up!

I spent so long thinking I had bad posture because of overworked muscles but I actually had a gallbladder issue which is something I feel like overlooked extremely often. Before attempting to fix yourself I would make sure there is nothing wrong with you organs first.

@@Gptmas well right now I am currently recovering from my gallbladder being taken out I just had it done like 4 days ago currently it’s very difficult I have had tons of gas that has been hard to pass. @jamesward4105 hang on, can I ask how you got this diagnosed? I have had chronic body imbalance and knee pain for like 6 years. Done everything I can think of and nothing can solve it but I feel such a strong sense that it’s coming from inside my body. a year ago I went to an acupuncturist who told me the imbalance line I traced along my body where I feel it was exactly my gallbladder meridian line in Chinese medicine but I didn’t think much of it until I saw this comment.
@jamesward4105
@jamesward4105 5 ай бұрын
@@ButterrPecans I had an ultrasound done of my entire organs but they thought it may be my gallbladder because I was having pain in my upper back on the right side and into my right scapula and right shoulder. My right hip also felt extremely stiff and my left knee and left ankle hurt a lot. As well as jaw pain and headaches. See what happens is the gallbladder spasms in a unnatural way because there is something wrong with it. In most cases you have a type of gallbladder sludge which is what I have which is thick concentrated bile. If it persists even worse you can develop gallstones. Anyways when the gallbladder gets in a unhealthy state it can literally destroy your body especially if you are like me and want to be a physical human being. The reason it does this is because when you move your gallbladder is basically sending your body in fight or flight mode because it’s tensed up which causes your muscles to stiffen up as you walk,run,sit, and so forth. When your body gets in a habit of moving in this bad motion your muscles start to create scar tissue to basically alleviate some of the discomfort on the gallbladder as you move. That is why the Chinese center all the medicine around the gallbladder because it is the first organ that determines your gut health once waste exists the liver into the intestines. So whenever your gallbladder is messed up you are really fighting a losing battle. Because I stretched ate what I assumed should be a healthy diet got good sleep l exercised and I still had bad stiffness and uncomfortable feeling in my body. Anyways yes if I was you I would go to your regular doctor and ask them to book you for an ultrasound of your organs but specifically your gallbladder. It is crazy how much this little organ can do. Let me know what happens. I’m currently 2 weeks post gallbladder surgery I feel much more at peace and comfortable the only thing is I still feel flare up’s after I eat certain things but the doctor told me it usually takes your body at least a month to start to understand how to function. Some people don’t want to remove there gallbladder and I understand I didn’t want to either but at a certain point I had to give in because my body was literally degenerating day by day. If you want to check for yourself you can go on a low fat diet for about a week and see how your symptoms feel. If you feel better than more than likely it’s your gallbladder because the main thing the gallbladder is there for is fats. Also if your one that likes spicy food cut it out as well as much as possible as well as citrus. Another note I don’t know what your ethic background is but people with Spanish or Native American heritage are way more likely to Develop this issue. I have a decent amount of Native American in me so go figure.

Thank you for all this information and the links. I attend government physio, they don't give much attention to anything other than what you are presenting with at the time. (For example a neck & shoulder injury). They don't really address posture unless that's what you've been referred there for. How can I tell what needs correcting without a thorough assessment? Is this possible? Thank you again. Wish I could give you endless thumbs up on each video 👍

As a carpet cleaner for 10 years, I can confirm. Hey conner! I would like your thoughts. I have been doing breathing postures and 90 90 variations. My trap went nuts and clamped down and my 3/4th rib down popped from sturnum when leaning on something! I had a thoracic spine release last week from a chiro. It was good for 1 days then got bad again. Last night I leveraged my shoulder behind my neck, arm trying to go up and parallel to spine but without overstretched arm... loose muscles. I breathed soft and short and meditated into the area. It felt mid back on right or lower thoracic. I finally got to a place that felt like promise. In retrospect I think my attention moved to turning lower... idk for sure. I know I think I straightened my arm but it came from below the shoulder ... There was an audible pop and suddenly I could breathe and rotate my shoulder blades.... even my psoas released. I went to hang off a 4x6 header I can never hang off of comfortably and my shoulders and it felt amazing! It tighted up when I went to bed. I ened up wrapping my left hand around the front of my body and feeling the bottom of my left shoulder blade. Mindfully I got it to rotate and felt released again. Long story longer, what is your take on mid back relationship to bridge hips and shoulders? I would love that video ❤ Thanks for all you do and happy new year 🎉

Hey conor, i see you mention in this video to use the neck rotation as the tie breaker, but in the article it says to use the lateral flexion as the tie breaker. Which one is it? Also a quick question. My pelvis is left lateralized, ribcage right laterelized, and head i thinks left (depends on the tie breaker). Now should i want to laterelize my body to the left or to the right or combinations?

Hey quick question. This seems like it can get very complicated. Is the foundation of all of this proper relaxed diaphragmatic breathing? I’ve noticed I can get overwhelmed with the complexity of these exercises and sometimes I get the best results by pairing proper breathing as you taught in one or your vids with my normal exercises and yoga movements.

My left hip is higher, very far forward and stiff(im lateralized to the left, so i walk on the outside of my left foot), right hip is down with the entire right "side abs" area "stretched out" and weak. Upper body is slouched forward and rotated a bit to the left. My right scapula is up, forward and very loose/unstable(Probably due to depressed ribcage?). Internal rotation at the left hip/leg is very bad, it feels like my tight left quad is limiting it. Where do I start? Please help!

@conorharris thank you mate! Since finding your videos about 2 months ago I'm now living pain free for the 1st time in over half a year. Just watched this video last night and became paranoid that I'm in an incomplete pattern lol 10 years ago I had PT for shoulder impingement and tried rehabbing it. Looking back with hindsight I was stuck in the left aic/right bc even then and I think rehabbing the shoulder in that way has created this imbalance at the neck. You've changed my life man, I hope you know what good you're doing for people!

I asked my PRI physical therapist the same thing. The response I got was essentially that it’s not really the teeth that are doing any ‘sensing’ but rather the gums that are sensing the pressures from the contact of the teeth. It'ss what we do most of the time how is a 20 minute session of these exercise override walking for the rest of the day with the same messed up mechanics? I'm genuinely curious, I've done these exercises in the past, they are recommended by some PRI interested people and they didn't do much for my right bc left aic pattern as they refer to the position I find myself in.

All of those are addressed in exercises for the “in-tact” patterns. Getting to in-tact is the goal, then those things apply as you can see in the article too. Hope that helps! Also these exercises, when done consistently over time, should naturally change your gait cycle for the better. Just takes time, but there should be instantaneous change to a minor extent
