Usually I hate to say this, I majored in English at college and I have been living in the US for almost 10 years, but I don’t really speak fluent English, not the level I think I should do. Your videos are indeed an eye opener that gave me a fresh new angle of learning English. I guess I am one of those who haven’t mastered some basic skills yet ski at a high speed. Thank you for thinking it over and sharing with us.

First uncountable thanks for your best ESl approach and i really liked it more than ever, furthermore you brought up in your teaching a very clear and concise that can lead every foreign english learner to his/her milestone of mastering english fluently speaking. Me as Nor I understand all that vocabulary coming out of your mouth easily without looking at the transcript or the title of your speech though I had never been to english native country. And I am gonna stay connected to you till I master more than the level I am now.

Your video has benefited me a lot!! I have a question about learning other skills. I am not a native speaker, but because most of the best resources are in English, should I also note them down in English when I am learning those skills? Because for me, absorbing in my own language is the fastest, so at present, I translate English materials into the language I am more confident in. Will this affect the things I think about in my head when I speak English?

I enjoy watching your videos. I have a question for you and hope you can tell me why. There is a teacher who teaches English in Chinese at a high school in Taiwan. He can analyze every single rule and structure of grammar perfectly and claims to know a bunch of vocabulary words. But the thing is, he can’t even speak a sentence correctly and makes a lot of mistakes when pronouncing words. He told me that he rarely listens to or watches English programs. Have you ever met a person like this? What level of English proficiency is he at? Thank you.

Mam, please give a rule of American fast speaking tricky. Sometime they drop their word. So please share of it. Because a lot of my calls are on American fluency. They all use American fluency like natives during my online interview, so it is difficult to understand them. So please share the rules for this so that I can crack my interview.

A new great lesson as funny as interesting! I’d like to know exactly when I must use "you want" instead of "you have to" please… 🚻😏🍒🌻
@EnglishAnyone
@EnglishAnyone 11 ай бұрын
These mean basically the same thing in this situation. But "have to" is stronger, like "must." "Want to" is like a recommendation. :)
@MC-bq9dj
@MC-bq9dj 11 ай бұрын
I think I didn't ask my question in the right way, probably that’s only for negative form... You "don't want" to do such and such... where I probably would have used "you don't have to"...🤔
@Slade69
@Slade69 9 ай бұрын
@@MC-bq9dj "You don't want to" is used when the speaker realizes there is something that the person he is speaking to doesn't desire or also it can be used as an advice to the receiver . Eg - You don't want to be late for school (advise) , Eg 2 - You don't want to eat the cake? That's fine , what do you want to eat instead? . 'You don't have to' is used when the receiver doesn't need to perform or get involved in something . Eg - You don't have to play outside if you are feeling sick

@Slade69 Thank you for your comment. But may I say -You don’t want to play outside if it’s late in the evening - ? :)
@Slade69
@Slade69 9 ай бұрын
@@MC-bq9dj Yes you can . The sentence you used can be said when you mean it as a suggestion or you are warning against some threat . If you mean to say it with a tone of authority or mean it as an order you can just say - "Don't play outside if it's late in the evening"
