In order to get Kappn' on your island AND unlock Harv’s plaza you need a three star island ⭐⭐⭐ You also need to be playing as the island rep to unlock Brewster!!! If you’ve never seen Redd, you can unlock him in Harv’s plaza.

To anyone struggling, you don’t need to go to harvs to unlock him. What I did is I looked in the art exhibit for my first painting and came out after clicking a on the painting. Blathers then had the thought bubble. Next, go to a Kapp’n island (costs 1000 miles!) and you will see Brewster Edit: also you need three stars and a deep sea creature 🎨 have a nice day 🌷

Hi! Ty for this great tip but I also did this and it didn’t work :( any tips? ((Also I have at least 3 art pieces and 1 of everything, but he still doesn’t have a thought bubble.) Edit: ok I got him! I followed @Cheir R comment and it worked! All I did was time travel 2 or 3 days after I talked to blathers and I got him!

A little warning for people trying to get brewster in May: Blathers will NOT be thinking of expanding the museum with the coffee shop during the international museum day event. I found this out the hard way with a lot of frustration towards our fine-feathered friend.

if you've done all this AND have 3 stars island but still no dialogue from blathers, make sure you have donated a DEEP SEA creature that you found through diving with a wetsuit [edit: then exit the museum and re-enter]

To anyone who has a 3 star rating and every part of their museum open, but Blathers still won't mention Brewster, make sure you donate a sea creature to Blathers!!! I did that, walked out of the museum, walked back in and saw him with the thought bubble! :)

Remember Brewster is a pigeon and used to give the option of giving you regular milk in your coffee or pigeon milk aka he gives the option to pee in your coffee on the gamecube version. I'm a throwback animal crossing player. I dont blame you for being scared but as I gotten older (28yrs old now) I still love brewster and I forgive him lmaooo

Idk if I messed something up for not getting Brewster but have over 40 fish bugs and fossils and I donated around 4 pieces of art to the museum but Blathers still doesn't have the thought bubble for opening a museum.

Ok this was super helpful thank you! Just started playing acnh again and I didn’t even know the art exhibit was a thing at all 😅. The other videos on the roost just said you go to Blathers and he has a 3 dot bubble over his head and then you go from there. Definitely subscribing!

Things you missed in this video 1. You have to complete project kk to get kapn 2. Three star island is required to get him 3. Not good enough detail compared to other videos that are shorter

I have my museum fully upgraded and i have donated atleast one of everything you mentioned, but there's still no thought bubble. I have a 2 star Island so maybe that's the problem, but im really confused.

I think you need K.K. Slider to visit and then the next day Blathers should have the thought bubble. I have the same problem so hopefully tomorrow I'll find out

Has anyone ever experienced Brewster telling you the seats are reserved at the roost and he won’t let you sit in them? That’s happening to me right now for the first time and I’m not sure why lol

Reserved seating is when you have friends (company) on your island. You can’t sit there you have to go to the stool if you are alone. If you’re not alone and is with a friend, you all can sit in the reserved seats area.

I can't believe my luck with the sheer cosmic coincidence of this: I HAPPENED to find this video around 4:45 AM - literally 15 minutes before the day officially counts as changed in-game naturally. I also literally just so happened to have exactly one real Artwork donated. I got the quest started literally immediately - didn't realize I had to talk to Blathers again after finding Brewster so still have to set clock forward but it was certainly nice to not have to do a whole lot of stuff lol

for those who are still struggling I would love to help! thing you need to do: 1. Donate 50+ fish, artworks, fossil, bugs, sea creatures (in total not of each) 2. Make sure you are on the account that you created your island with 3. Wait a day or two then go to the museum then you should see blathers with a thinking bubble above his head 4. Talk to him. Side note: You must have a 3 star rating on your island and kapp’n unlocked on Harvs island so that you can sail to a random island to find brewster :)

Cooking is available. You need to buy the cooking app from the residence service computer thingy and buy recipes from nooks cranny(and buy seeds from the Sloth) I don't know all the correct names in English sorry 😂😭

@@azureila2518 hey for mine, I realized I hadn’t done the diy workshop with Nook at Resident Services. After that, the cooking stuff showed up at the ATM for nook miles, and at the shop. Hope that helps

Ok, so I restarted my island about a month ago, and only had one part of the museum when the 2.0 update came out, and I spent a whole month trying to figure out how to get Brewster, but, you can just time skip back to November 3 2021, and if you have the art wing, then you can walk in the museum and boom! Talk to Blathers and there you go. I hope this helps some people.

have you downloaded the update? like when you start your island does it say version 2.0.0 in the corner? you visit harv like normal from the airport

Just go for the first time in his island, he will explain how to take pictures and his home. TimeTravel to the next day, or just wait for tomorrow. You'll have a letter from him to invit you to come back, he has something to show you :)

And to take all thoses shops, you'll have to spend 100K bells for every (i believe there is 6 differents shops). But you can pay for one per day (TimeTraveeeeeeel)

I went to the museum talked to Blathers. He mentioned Brewster and gave me Brewster's photo. I went to the dock and took my first boat ride. I found Brewster on the first island I went to, and now I'll wait.

I'm so confused why this isn't working for me. I updated the game and it says I'm in version 2.0, and I've done everything with the museum, but I'm not getting the option to talk to Blathers about Brewster.

if you do get a 3 star island you need to make sure u have donated one of every single animal in the fully upgraded museum

Am I the only one it’s half updated for? I have some of the new items like the reactions, ladder kit and other stuff. but I don’t have kapp’n or the chef + app available etc etc. Has this happened to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it? I was rlly excited for the update but all my favourite features aren’t here :(

OmG TYSM!! Blathers didn’t even have a thought bubble but I went on a boat ride with Kappn and he gave me a ride and boom I got Brewster!!

One day on my island, Tom nook said to be careful with the money you spend, and it was the same day that Redd appeared so I thought he was sus, so I never bought anything from him and now he s gone, I haven't seen him in like FOREVER, I always thought he was some thief or sum and I'd get in trouble if I bought something from him and now I'm embarrassed...

Tip: if you want a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Island collect weeds and craft hay beds and get the cardboard boxes out of the drop off box and place them down :>

I got all the fossils, bugs, fish, sea creatures and all the art completed. My museum is completed and my island is 5⭐️ I can’t get Blathers to get his thinking bubble to appear. During the day he’s always asleep till 7 pm then he’s always just reading his book after 7 pm. I want Brewster so bad this is pissing me off it’s not working. I have Harvs Island with 3 trailers on it now I can travel to mystery islands by the boat just no Brewster and the Roost

Or, you can apparently never try anything and a year will go by and the artist will show up on your island and offer art for 100,000 dollars and you’ll turn them down and they’ll offer it for 5,000. I think the game was afraid I was never coming back.

Okay sooo if you’ve updated to 2.0.5 and you have everything you need (donated all items, 3 star island, kk slider, kappn, etc) but still cannot figure out why blathers won’t mention Brewster.. GET MORE PEOPLE ON YOUR ISLAND! invite random villagers from the other island using a nook miles ticket. I had everything I needed and it still wasn’t working. I used a nook miles ticket and got at least 8 villagers living on my island. (Talk to Tom nook about infrastructure and sell land to build homes). Once I got more villagers, I went to the museum and he talked to me about Brewster. Hope this helps.
