Isiah I have a question for you. Do you recommend conjugate training method for the flexibility it provides? I’m a full-time engineering student and at the same time working full time in a restaurant to pay off my tuition. I still love training but I really need to program it well to make sure I won’t burn out. So I did a lot bit research on training programming and I’m really buy into conjugate method now.

If anyone I think Isiah is the one who should try and get up to 60. (if these contemporary generations of athletes already in their 20's can reasonably and realistically aim there at all) What makes me say it is his foremost his age, I'm 28 and if I remember correctly he's a bit younger. This'll make him able to just tap now into the potential of his heavy lifting, as he's getting his fully developed male body. Making all he's done so far just his actual base! Secondarily, but a necessary codition, Isiah is now 10 years ahead of himself with his understanding of jump posturality and efficiency. Meaning in his mind I'm sure he can visualize (his) perfect movement efficiency but he must know he's still far from that. And nothing stays the same. Which is exciting!! #AirBendIt260

One we talked about was if you could hypothetically have an athlete in a half squat, and the drop a barbell onto their shoulders while they aggressively squat up and punch the bar
@cortidavide
@cortidavide Ай бұрын
@@IsaiahRivera1 Yes, I thought about that exact same thing and, while it's obviously dangerous (if the bar accelerates even for like 10 cm it could break your neck), you could keep the bar 1-2 cm aways from the athlete's traps on a Smith machine, give him a 3 seconds count and release the weight; what happens if you fail the rep is a whole other problem

I’ve seen a lot of people say it’s a problem with load management of plyometric contacts. Obviously get stronger and more stiff+elastic tendons but I would lower how many plyometric contacts you are doing and monitor pain and slowly increase contacts/intensity while keeping pain low.

Fun story, I signed up for ATG back in 2018. Did extreme levels of stretching every day and became the most flexible I ever have. Jumped lower lol. I like having just enough hamstring flexibility to be able to pull from the floor, anything past that and I’ve seen a negative effect on my vertical.

The SSC is indeed not magic. Good athletes can stretch their tendon without any momentum just from a explosive concentric contraction. Longer tendons help a lot.
