If think about it warzone mobile says it releases on november first and its just 9 days before mw3 realeases so they were planing on doing that, whole that means that they intentionally pushed back warzone mobile to fit in with the release of mw3

So if we go back to bo2... the info showed for Hudson, Mason and Weaver is that they were actually on the run because the CIA were hunting them down. Hudson and Mason whereabouts were confirmed as alive and you play as Mason and Hudson is around as a side character. However, Weaver appeared as Missing In Action therefore it either meant he got killed or he was secretly hiding or something.

If they go for some canon ending stuff between Bo1, BO CW being in between BO1 & BO2 and BO2 my guess is that this is how Weavers destiny is revealed and its unfortunate.
