This worked for me on S6 Edge Canada. Even after being stuck in emergency recovery mode was still able to push firmware through. YOUR THE BEST!

Thanks man. Quick note to say that your instructions worked perfectly. Needed to unroot a Samsung to be able to get the Nougat update. I purchased the phone with 6.01, but your ROM was 5.x. After the unroot, it's running thru what looks like back to back to back updates now. Hoping it reaches ver 7 eventually.

Hey i am having problems with it failing after "NAND write start" at "Complete(Write) operation failed" so i tried it on another PC and it failed at "odin cannot open serial com port. My knox is at 1 and the phone is bricked. What should i do? I download the drivers for the phone.

Thanks. It worked for my samsung galaxy 6 - updated to Android 7. I used firmware from sammobile.com seems to have worked well. I did the free (slow download) membership I expect to have all apps, messages and photos erased. to my surprise they are all still on the phone

Will this trigger the Knox warranty voided count, thus voiding your warranty? Have not rooted my phone yet but I'm afraid of triggering the flash count. I found a way of rooting the galaxy s6 without triggering this count, but I'm curious to know if there a way to unroot without triggering as to preserve the warranty when needed.

in the ID:COM field you said that it will not work if it is not showing something in that box and that it is a driver issue. What if my S6 is not showing any signs of life even after trying every combination of volume buttons, power button and home button and for many variations of seconds (time). I can not get it to respond to anything, thus no download screen, thus nothing in the IM:COM field. Can you please advise what I can try to do? Thank you!

Look man. I got AT&T SM-G902A and i got the md5 files for it but when i use odin and try to load it to the odin it just says 0 bineries. Its not puttin it into the pdin for some reason it wont load them in and i have the drivers installed. Plese help!!

I have the SM-G925i model and have tried two different firmware from sammobile.com but none of them worked - I have got a fail message in Odin. I am using Odin version 3.11.1. Any idea of what might be causing the issue? Thanks.

Hey, thx for the video. I tried all the steps. 1. i turned off the option "Auto Reboot" in Odin, but then my phone wouldnt respond to any button combos after flashing the firmware. 2. i tried with the "Auto Reboot" on, but my phone is still stuck in a boot loop and I can only use the button combo to access download mode but I cant make it into recovery. Any advice? (also my start screen with the smsung logo has red horizontal stripes in the background instead of just the usual black)

May I ask you a question? what will happen if I don't do the factory reset? The reason I flash the phone is because I accidentally rooted my 5.1.1 phone, after the firmware reinstall the phone is back to normal, I guess I don't need to do the factory reset? am I right? is there any hiden risk that I'm unaware of?

Hey.. your video doesn't work for the S6 Edge AT&T variant. I tried uploading the .md5 file in Odin 3, once started I end up receiving an error stating, "MD5 error, binary is invalid". I tried deleting the .md5 at the end of the firmware name and (restarting in odin again which failed). I also re-downloading the firmware itself , but no luck with that either. Do you have any other ideas?

Thanks for the video.. Fixed my S6 edge that was custom binary locked! I did find that you need to use the proper M5 file for your current firmware. If you are on 6.0.1 and try to use older fimware like 5.1 Odin will fail at NAND write. Thanks again!

I found the 6.0.1 sprint version that was on my phone.. you need to find the 6.0.1. international version if that is what is on your phone now.. the older versions will not flash over the new version. www.galaxys6edgeupdate.com/galaxy-s6-stock-firmware/ try finding the right firmware for your model there... good luck!

After unbricking the phone. Can you go to software updates in the settings and update it.

If you click start and it fails after a few seconds. You could be using the wrong firmware. Happened to me so I downloaded a different firmware (same version of android but different carrier) and now everything works. Hope this helps.
