Yep, just be careful not to overwater, it won't take long for that paper to start decomposing once it's wet.😊

@@ModestGamer84 I guess it depends on the newspaper, but most of them use soy ink these days, which is not toxic. I wouldn't recommend taking a bite out of a newspaper, but the ink shouldn't harm the plant. :)

Love your videos wish you had some in Spanish so I can show my father-in-law. He loves this stuff. Every summer he turns his small NYC backyard into a beautiful vegetable garden. he’s even planted some fruit trees. It’s amazing what he does with limited amount of space he has.

My Mother and my grandmother used this technique long before I was around. Wrapping it around a canning jar gives it more space to grow which means you can start them earlier. More tomatoes for me! ❤️ 🌱

Offer to clean people's gutters for free. The stuff in gutters is decomposed leaf and sticks, its 100 plant matter and 100% nutrients for your plants. Plants grow better in it then any store bought soil mix.

Great advice before me. Also get a bucket, or any larger container, fill it with the dirt from your ground. Every time you eat, put your egg shells in that soil, put used coffee grounds in it, put banana peels, potato peels, any left over scraps (just not not meat or dairy) in that soil container. You can also shred cardboard and news paper and put it in there. Give it a good mix every time you add to it. Keep it moist (not dripping wet) it will become compost - the best soil! Also, rake your leaves and put them in a big container or trash bag and let them rot in there. Best soil amendment ever! Do the same with your grass clippings after you mow it! Rake it up and use it! You can put the grass clippings in the compost- You can do this!
