I work very well with PABX Alcatel Enterprise installing, configuring, updating or patching or releasing. I always wanted to learn and know how to update firmware on a switch. In this video I saw that it is not difficult being much simpler and easier.

Bia noite. Existem 3 tipos de centrais Alcatel: Office ou OXO e Enterprise ou OXE Hardware Comum, essas duas centrais utilizam placas de link E1 PRA-T2 para ISDN e PCM-R2 para R2 em que o Led Busy fica vermelho quando está fazendo ou recebendo ligações externas e quando quando não está fazendo ou recebendo ligações externas o ld busy fica apagado. E terceira central Enterprise ou OXE Hardware Crystal, utiliza placas de link E1 PRA, PRA2 , NPRAE, NPRAE2 para ISDN e PCM2 para R2 em que o Led Busy fica amarelo quando está fazendo ou recebendo ligações externas e quando quando não está fazendo ou recebendo ligações externas o ld busy fica apagado. Estando o LED Busy aceso direto pode ser que a placa esteja travada sendo necessário desconectar ecreconecrar a placa e ver se o LED Busy apaga, se fizer isso e o LED Busy não apagar pode ser placa. O LED busy pode ficar aceso direto também quando a placa está criada no PABX e foi criado um Rota "Tronco" e não têm link de Operadora conectado na placa.

Hi, thank for the explaination. Do you know if we have to update uboot/miniboot too ?

uboot/miniboot files are not released so often by Alcatel. If it is available with any major release then yes you should update the uboot-miniboot. Commands are simple.. you will have to move the file into the /flash directory and then you following commands -- update uboot-miniboot Note: It is important to check the file type, a different update file is required depending on the switch type and the type of update. Specifying the wrong file can affect the operation of the switch. Always refer release notes/user guide before updating your switch.

Hello, After encountering difficulties importing a configuration into the ALCATEL OmniSwitch 2260-48 non-PoE switch, I reset the switch to factory settings using WinSCP. During this process, the Aros.img and boot.cfg files became inaccessible. Additionally, the switch keeps rebooting and remains stuck at the prompt: RTL9310# #. To resolve this issue, I need to create a recovery USB key and require the following files: Firmware image (Aros.img) Boot configuration file (boot.cfg) Could you please provide these files or direct me to where I can download them? Thank you in advance for your help.
