How to update the Radionav looks on Alfa Romeo Giulietta

Download update here: forum.clubalfa.it/threads/tip...
1. Download to PC from link above;
2. Extract the files in the Zip;
3. Copy the 9 files to SD (freshly formatted);
4. With car switched off remove SD card with maps;
5. Switch car on;
6. Pop in new SD card with software and say yes to all the questions;
7. The system will eventually ask to reboot.

It worked, just make sure you use a SD card of max. 8Gb capacity.

I have a problem becouse in my screen is information Rilevata SD Card sconosciuta.Questa SD Card non è utilizzabile dal sistema. "Unknown SD card detected. This SD card can not be used by the system." I formatted the card and after copy this files and i don't know where is the problem

I have issue with my Giulietta gearbox, iIt's TCT, and when actuator pump is running, around 30amps drain from battery and in heavy traffic I will receive gearbox. Would you please do a favour for me? Check the amperage of your giulietta when pump is run and inform me the results. Thanks in advanced

When I put the card these message appears: the system will restart. Keep engine on. Continue? CD 0015 after I select yes ...CD ROM incomplete or damaged and the update doesn't work anymore

Hi! Thanx for this tutorial. I’m uploading another theme but this takes ages.. How long does it take to install? I tried a 8gb card but got the “copy failed” message. The one I use now is 16gb.. Should that be the problem?

@@garagedilettante1128 Thanx man, I found what the problem is. Someone found out that if you extract the .zip file on a mac computer, something goes wrong. I extracted on a pc at work, and it worked instantly and indeed in a few moments.

+Thomas Best hi! My Giulietta is MY2013, distinctive specification. It also has Sportiva package, which includes QV toys, like big brembo brakes, lowering springs and othet things inside, like aluminium pedals, etc. If you want Radionav, you should look for higher specification Giuliettas - distinctive and lusso. And from MY2014 radionav was dropped altogether and some new touchscreen thing was introduced. But my suggestion to you - look for a giulietta with Sportiva package - it really livens up the car.

Hi, i have lost my sd nav card, i just copy other one of a friend whit the same model like me (2012) but whit the original interface say me that the card is unknown. Radionav does't wont to copy files. at the end i get comunicate "copy failed"....

But, reading lower down, the problem could be comming form the size of your SD card. Max size is 8Gb. Mine is 32Gb. So I go and try with a smaller size card.

Max size of SD card is 8 GB. The system can not recognize larger sd cards.

I can confirm I installed it from 32GB sd card. First, you must format on FAT32. From Win Explorer right-click on sd card > format... > fat32. Then you must ONLY copy files and folders FROM the folder "Tema Radionav 2.4"! Then follow yes-yes-yes-yes-... How it did in the video.

Great! Thanks! I will try but one question. Is this an official AR theme? If it not, does it exist with some improvements? Small offtopic: I see your screen works great and moves up and down without any problem. Mine has stopped to move. First, it was slower and now won't move down or up. It was always in the same position. Do you someone with a similar problem or you may be read somewhere about how to fix it?

It’s unofficial. Just visual improvements. As for the screen motor, I’m not sure, but I would try to remove it and see if the gears are not stuck

I don't know. I know that you can go to different versions, IF you put them on new SD card and istall them. You should be able to convert to original, BUT you MUST have files containing original version. Where to get them I don't know. But in my case, 4 months later I'm still very happy about this theme and I don't have any thoughts of going back.
