Speakers at first glance can seem a little daunting if you're not too familiar with digging into your car. But realistically, just breaking it down into steps its actually pretty straightforward. In this install there's no need to tap into wires or mess with a power supply. This route is one of the more simple ways to go to keep the factory pieces with a new speaker.

Thank you for this video- I was able to replace my front passenger door speaker with very little difficulty, and hardly any swearing. And I have no skill. You did a great job teaching me!

I like the fact that you upgraded with normal speakers, sounds strange to say that, haha. But so many other people upgrade their parts of their vehicles with the most expensive, fancy, lights, blah blah blah. Its nice to see someone that has video with normal and affordable upgrades.

Good video on door panel removal, Crutchfield is the way to go and they send you brackets and adapters to go from car speaker harness to back of speakers for free

Thank you so much bro, I’ve been trying to find how to change them out, my speakers rattle a lot I have a 2016 Fusion SE.. this helped a ton! Are the speakers you bought good in bass and everything else? Or should I go for a more pricey one?

Hey bro greetings ..nice job with the old housings ,,doing the same thing but one quw=estion is it important how you connect the wires to weld them to the old harness i mean plus or minus or that doesnt matter

I will say my fusion isn’t as clean as yours looks wise and literally (it’s filthy lmao) but I have two soundstream 12 inch subs 2500 watts a piece 5k amp in the trunk and the door speakers are absolutely shot, definitely have some serious foam rot so thank you for your informative video, I’ll check out crutchfield for sure

I've started getting a rattle in one of my speakers at certain frequencies so this will be really helpful when I decide to address it. Should I just swap the one bad speaker or do you recommend upgrading all at the same time?

Most of the speakers for sale come with a set of two so I’d suggest doing two at a time! There is a nice pickup in audio quality so I’d just do em all like that 👍🏼

Been working in getting those bolts out in the car door but my tools aren’t loosing the bolt at all both the smaller and big one will an impact driver drill get them out easier?? (note I twirled around with my 10mm and my 5.5mm for almost 2 hours was only able to get 2 small ones out)

Hey Dito, not really to familiar with sodering the wires the speaker, any tops? I want to replace my speakers in my 2015 fusion with the same ones you got.

Sure! So main thing is just you want to make sure you’re making clear contact between the pieces. So aim to get it more centered and build up some around it so that it’s secure. Then from there you can wrap some electrical tape around it for extra security and then you should be good 👍🏼
