How to Upload Audio Files to KZfaq
Getting your latest release onto KZfaq SHOULD be fairly straightforward...
If you've ever tried to upload your audio files to the platform before, you'll know that isn't the case.
In this video I show you the easiest way I know to get your audio onto KZfaq.

I usually prepare my tracks on Lumafusion before uploadin on YT (Ipad music prod. enthusiast here 🤗), which is about the same process as shown on the video. Thanks Patrick!

The easiest way for me to upload audio tracks is screen recording them. Making albums is easy; I just stitch screen recordings of songs together in iMovie, save it to my Photos app, and upload it to KZfaq from the app itself.

Yep, this is the way I've done it before. I've had a couple of "albums" I've released, years ago, that were uploaded as individual tracks with the "cover" image. I'll have a new one in....well, sometime in the future...Meanwhile, I have a few collections of my photography, accompanied by music I composed for them.

This info was certainly helpful, as I'm trying to learn this kind of editing myself. But I would like to point out - in case anyone is also looking at this program - that the 'free software suggested for us PC users, is not actually free at all. It's not expensive by any means, but still not free without limited use and watermarking. Still, it does seem capable of doing what I want it to, whereas other programs I've messed with don't. And this one is easy too!

The photos app messes with bitrate of the song which in my case distorts the sound noticably. any alternatives?

Upgraded to LumaFusion a few years ago. iMovie is still awesome though! :)

Ya sounds easy enough but nothing ever works the way it should for me can anyone tell me why I can’t upload my GarageBand song to iMovie? It’s showing up in the apps it just won’t let me click on it for some reason

Hey there! Great video! I still have a question for you : my problem is that I'm trying to upload music to KZfaq, and have noticed that my "Photos" software (Windows) automatically exports my videos to MP4 files. If I feed my "Photos" software with a WAV file rendered with a DAW, how can I render it as a video in a VIDEO format that supports higher quality AUDIO? Is there a video format that is compatible with KZfaq that allows me to have higher quality audio? Thanks a lot! Cheers!

Im on the same boat i think u have to forgot about wav,and choose quick time linear pcm for best option,stil not good as wav. I would be happy to know what u did

@@roilavin Hey there! I'm not sure this will necessarily work, but jave you tried using Da Vinci Resolve? It offers a wider choice of formats for export. I managed to upload a video to KZfaq that is worth a lot of GigaBytes (10ish) and seems to have 24bit audio to it. It's the solution I found thus far, I believe the file format is either .avi or .mov . I cannot guarantee you that the audio is wav quality, but if I analyze the file with my Digital Audio Workstation, it looks like wav...

Windows Video Editor only allows photo editing. No combination of the video and audio.

Isn't Koala audio only and through the mic? You could make the audio that way but not the video part. Unless I'm thinking of the wrong app.

You could also just use the iOS version of iMovie to do the same thing.

I wanted to upload tune from Ableton - SAVE and EXPORT AUDIO from your MUSIC APP to your PC/LAPTOP then OEPN your PC or Apple VIDEO EDITOR Suite (should be provided on your PC as standard / free anyway) CREATE VIDEO (not audio) ADD PICTURES / I CHANGED DURATION so TO FIT SONG (in settings or with a CLOCK logo) / ALSO....IMPORT the MP3 FILE (TUNE) and then once done it will ask to export as an MP4 to my PC/LAPTOP..........THEN open UTUBE / CREATE / SELECT and UPLOAD the VIDEO you have CREATED and WILL HAVE TO ADD PICTURES AT THIS STAGE to get through to the end of processing - be patient!
