Finally after wasting 3 hours i got to the right video

the "-f" in "git push -f origin master" is exactly what i needed Thank you Sir!

Normally i'd say it goes without saying but I screwed it up twice soooooo for everyone watching? WATCH YOUR SPELLING! I misspelled several things while doing this and had to look up ways to correct it. Other than my own dumb mistakes though, this worked perfectly and I finally have my VS code project connected up, thank you for posting this!
