But why do people seem to hate the acoustic bass guitar so much? Thats what my first bass was...less to worry about, made sense for me and they're a vibe...AliceInChains Unplugged. It's an option

My peavy amp has a knob that says “vintage” and I don’t understand what that means and I can’t find any videos on it. Do you know by any chance?

Vintage would emulate more of an 'old school' Ampeg sound, and Modern would emulate a more 'round' Eden sound

You should always unplug from the amp before unplugging the bass

I was gifted a Peavey basic 112 bass amp. My question is, can I play a Les Paul and / or a Strat through this type of amp. I'm not a gig player, just an at home learning to play guitar student.

Easy answer: yes. Just not at super loud volumes to be safe
