Depends on who makes them. Many of the store bought like dollar store Walmart etc fizz a lot, but those made by us small business have the power to add moisturizing oils which make them so much better in my opinion.

Hi great question. I wouldn't recommend doing so as there may be residue left in the water. Clean running water would be best for rinsing your hair. The bath bomb doesn't act like a soap. There are some bath bombs that are called bubble bars and they only add bubbles to your water, but they do not replace soap.

@@mahnoornadeem9706 once in the water it will dissolve. What's left is any fragrance added and the oils used. If a bath bomb is used as a part of a relaxing bath I would recommend taking a quick shower to clean your body then run a relaxing bath and light some candles and drop a nice smelling bath bomb in.

Mahnoor Nadeem good question! Depending on the creator sometimes it needs a boost, so holding it under the running water will help. Typically just tossing it in will do the trick. Where did you get yours or did you make it?

No the ingredients would be too harsh to rub directly onto the skin. When dissolved in water they are harmless.

Just unwrap and drop it in. The water activated the fizzing action. Depending on who made it, it may release a lot of oil which helps to moisturize your skin. I use Shea butter.

It releases fragrance and moisturizing oils to your bath water. The baking soda and citric acid react with the water to release the oils.

Unfortunately, you are incorrect. This small amount of baking soda and citric acid do not harm the skin. The other ingredients such as shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil and more are natural and also do not harm the skin. A woman's private parts is acidic, so a product that is very alkaline would be more harmful, such as many of the store bought soaps you may use.
