There ya go Jeff! I bought a Jiffy Steamer, in 2015. Best Clothing Investment I've made. With dry cleaning shirts, in the DMV area averaging around $2.50 at that time, I know I've saved a grip. Plus, with washing your own shirts, they are dramatically cleaner and I haven't lost a single button. Good Job with the education broham and thanks for the affirmation. Salute mang!

Great Vid bro...I had a job as a teen working stock in a clothing store. We would have to steam the clothes and they always came out boxes folded a particular way. In all honesty, I find it kinda makes me smile a bit when I steam my clothes over ironing them (I had fun at that job)...and I think ironing them can be rougher on my suits. Usually when I travel I will throw my clothes on a hook in the shower and let that steam hit it for a bit...I need a more portable steamer for traveling.

Good idea about the suits. Years ago a tailor warned me of dry cleaning and 'death to suits'. So I mainly take pants, but niether really need it other than freshing up. And I have some clothes, mostly cottons that aren't worth dry cleaning, but only washing messes them up. Distilled water was a good tip I hadn't thought about. What about dress shirts? Dry cleaned and pressed still seems nice for some, especially business white.

Some of the handheld ones are amazing too such the ones that have an pump to force water into a high surface area boiler for more powerful steam and allow you can refill the reservoir without waiting for it cool down so you can steam a lot more clothes in less time.

I am surprised how many men, and women, don't realize that a steamer saves a fortune on dry cleaning bills while extending the life of a suit. As you say, are you going to iron that suit or sports coat: I don't think so. I've found that a quality hand held steamer, such as the Conair extremesteam, is as efficient as the "professional" steamers and a bit easier to use. There's no hose to worry about. I steam my suit before I wear it and spritz it with fabric freshener and it's like it just came from the dry cleaner. As you point out, dress shirts benefit uniquely from ironing; this is especially so of all cotton shirts. But a "wrinkle-free" ploy-blended shirt looks great after a quick steaming.

#1) BE SURE TO BE CLEAN and pls, pls, pls SKIP drowning yourself in cologne! Women want to pick up on your natural pheromones not cologne!!! #2) Dress to be comfortable + confident! Not use to wearing something then don't hit the Bar/Club Scene wearing something that doesn't fit you or feel good on your body. #3) Enter as if entering a corporate office building: Like a Gentleman with confidence, awareness of surroundings [eyes open and looking around in a moderate manner and deciding where you would like to go next inside the bar/club.....'Taking Stock of the Place' um, and the ladies as well, lol.]. DITCH the 'gangsta'/'badd boy'/'hood brother'/'rapper'/'ladies man' personas!! That is if you're not in one of those types of bars/clubs. Old quote: "Leave da Hood at Home". #4) ALWAYS be polite and ASK 1st if anyone is sitting or has claimed a seat. Never plop your rear end down or lean or put your hand/elbow/arm/foot on someone else's chair even if they seem to be ok with it. The chair is part of a womans 'Personal Space'. To hang on it or touch it MAY signal you desire to know her better. Wherein to simply lean on a chair amongst a conversational grouping means you're being friendly and into the group conversation. #5) Approaching women: Brothers some women definitely miss the Male making the initial statement. • Keep it casual (don't expect or seek a reply) but don't leave her presence. • Say something about what she is looking at/focused on/talking about with another bbn individual nearby. BUT BY ALL MEANS TALK AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD! Don't talk like James Bond, etc. #6) ALWAYS approach a 'Lady'/female talking in a Casual but Confident Tone of voice [practice it and imagine you're speaking to some elder you respect. Hope this helps least a wee bit [I'm getting sleepy now.]

Only use distilled water in your steamer. Otherwise you’re spraying the minerals in the water into your fabric. Distilled water has no minerals, therefore leaves no spots.
