If you want to know how to use a freight elevator with power doors first look in the window and if the shaft is dark it's not here but if you see a gate in the shaft it's here. First if the elevator is at your floor press door open you can find it above door close. If the elevator is at a different floor call it and wait for it to arrive. When the elevator arrives wait for it to stop then when it stops press door open. Some freight elevators open automatically and some don't but if it does open automatically wait for the door to open before entering the elevator. Make sure your load is secure before closing the door get away from the gate when you enter. Stay behind the control panel away from the gate. Before selecting your floor close the door. Press and hold the door close button otherwise the door will reopen some freight elevators you don't have to hold the door close button but most of them you have to. Keep a close eye on the door when closing it. Make sure it is clear before closing the door because nobody wants to get hurt. After the door is closed select your floor when you are finished with the elevator unload it then make sure you close it when you are finished remember press that door close button on the call station on the outside of the elevator it is located above the call button. Don't forget to check if the doorway is clear before closing the doors. And that's how you use a freight elevator with power doors
