I hadnt thought about your content - but a teleprompter might speed up your editing time a ton and give more flexibility because of less jump cuts. It has its place- its also another piece of gear and one more step to do

I've been so fed up with my DSLR lately - I'm a gear nut- but not a camera nut- and don't have any interest in learning "cameras" right now - I just need clear and focused footage - my videos aren't cinematic, they're educational - and the the gopro's "always in focus" fills that need for me. I think I might actually sell the DSLR on ebay and buy another GoPro as a secondary camera

Thanks for highlighting the GoPro solution! Mic adapter works fine on my GoPro10. Padcaster comes later in the week. I was concerned the Padcaster might be visible on the sides of the video frame, but I noticed you indicated to shoot in the Linear mode vs Wide. I’m assuming Linear is the only way to use the Padcaster. Thanks again for sharing the solution!

Yeah if you use any of the wide angles then the teleprompter starts showing up in the frame. Handy tool to have!

Great video and super helpful! Have you tried to use it vlogging and walking around? I found when you use the stabilizing feature on my GoPro 10, it picks the sides of the teleprompter up. Of course, you can turn the stabilizing feature off, but any movement seems bouncy. Any suggestions? I was looking at maybe a telescoping lens, but don’t know if that would help

No I don't think I would use this walking and using the teleprompter - that sounds like too many balls in the air. But if you're getting the teleprompter screen in your shot look at changing your view angle. Keep stabilization on but zoom into a more narrow lensview OR record at a higher resolution and crop it out in post production.

Not sure which mic adapter you're talking about - I've used the 3.5mm mic adapter directly from GoPro on a 9 and a 10.

Hey -- thanks for the video. I was looking for a complete solution for the GoPro Hero 10, and this is it! Your affiliate link is broken the ULANZI G9-5 Aluminum Cage. It's missing a space at the end and parses the link incorrectly.

Sorry I don't know the thread size of the DJI lens - but I bet if its smaller than what comes with the teleprompter someone makes an adapter ring to put it together.

No because then you wouldn't have the cage with the threaded adapter on the front.

I'm not sure - if you can get the teleprompter threaded onto the camera I bet it would work - not sure on the lens thread size of the DJI but there might be adapters available.

I don’t think that it will work for my gopro 11 I have that adapter but I tried to connect my microphone, and it did not work. The adapter doesn’t work, and that cage that you’re showing in your video doesn’t have a media mod Only when I connected the media mod did it work before. I was even on the phone with GoPro support, and it still didn’t work. I had to go and buy the media mod

Correct - it won't work with the media mod because you can't put the cage on then. You have to use the 3.5mm headphone jack adapter with this setup.

The footprint of the 9,10, and GoPro 11 are all the same - so this setup should work for any of them.
