i can see from your video how hard you are pressing down. this has helped me a lot with my technique. i was not pressing anywhere near as hard as you were onto the strop. thank you for the side angle shot

My strop says sharpening on one side, honing on the other. Should I charge the sharpening side with compound? Otherwise, I dont see how it would sharpen.

My razor came rather dull can i still get the edge i want from just using the stop and should i apply anything to the leather
