I had no clue you could do pattern in design space. All I've been told is you won't need to use it so I never clicked on it. Thank you so much for this information.

For those like me searching for this in 2022, you have to change the cut type to "Print then cut" to find the color drop-down option to appear when you click on the color fill box.

The fill button has been replaced with the offset button on my canvas screen. Does anyone know where the pattern fill button is now located. Have they deleted the fill from the program?

I have tried using a small crosshatch pattern within the the “empty” space it leaves out and it works really well!

Hi Becca. I’ve seen several of these tutorials and I still don’t have the same view as you. When I go to upload and select pattern and select the picture my screen has no SAVE. It has upload and cancel as an option. I did it twice just to be sure I selected pattern Fill. I’m going nuts. Can you help?

Can this be done from an android device? I have just shut down my laptop and machine for the night. Watched this video and I want to have a go, but can't wait til the morning so thought I'd have a go from my phone

Do you suggest DS users upload all our purchased and non purchased images to. D.S. For safe keeping or only upload what we need for ea project as we go? Do we need to delete files after using them if we have to many, or is there any such thing as to many in our D.S. Accounts?

So, this is a great question! You have to be careful when doing this because if you have "Cricut Access" and you eventually cancel or no longer need it, all of the files and projects you had will all be lost.
