Hello! Pendulum work can be difficult for this very purpose and honestly the best way to get over this issue is practice. I would also recommend meditating before hand to really help open yourself to the energies around you. Also, Pendulums are connected to our subconscious as well, if your heart is feeling strongly about a situation your pendulum will reflect that and that is not a bad thing! It simply means your intuition is guiding you. I hope this helps!

Remember that the pendulum is only a tool. The energy that moves the tool is around you all the time. You have just found one way of allowing yourself to notice it. I too am learning as much as I can and hope to continue to learn until I too am just the energy that moves a pendulum. I can tell you the most important thing to know about any sort of divination or esoteric practice and that would be to keep it positive and all will be well. Never work against another's free will and if you learn something positive turn around and teach something positive to the next person asking for help. If you are unsure if the pendulum is swinging the way you want it to or if it is moving of its own volition, I find that if I take away a bit more of my control, For example, the end of the chain or cord whatever your pendulum is attached to,you can put a bar of some sort like the toggle side of a toggle clasp or if big enough to fit your finger, the side with the ring. Then you can hang the pendulum between two fingers or from your finger and choose a finger that you feel you control less, say like your ring finger. By doing this your mind will also have something different to think about, the way it feels or etc. That will also take away that underlying thought that, you are controlling the movement of your instrument and not the energy that's hoping to connect with you. I hope that you survived the world's longest run on sentence and continue to use your pendulum as much as you can. Mine comes in handy for all sorts of things it even helps me win at the casino. Lastly if ever you get the chills on the back of your neck that is to me spirit reminding you they Are right there all the time. Peace

Hello, this is something you can program your pendulum to interoperate! Decide how it is easiest for you to read. For example you may create the rule that it is the first letter that it points to on the first swing forward. Or perhaps you find you are more connected to the back swing of your pendulum. Whatever you decide spend a few moments with your pendulum programing that decision into it :)

I personally wouldn’t recommend using a pendulum with a ouija board because it could open your pendulum to spirits and allow them to attach to it. This could interfere with your higher being as well as your readings. With a “programmed” pendulum, it is opening a “portal” to your subconscious thoughts and views. This is the layer that makes me wary of combining the pendulum with a ouija board. Ouija boards are great by themselves, but the user must always be cautious of what may happen when using one. This is why I’d stay away from using a pendulum with a ouija board. If you were to combine these two, please be sure to cleanse both of these tools before and after, as well as possibly getting a different pendulum to preform this exercise. I would not recommend using a pendulum that has been used to understand your subconscious mind on the ouija board. (I’m also not an expert on pendulums or oujia boards, but please be wary when using the spirit board no matter what your intentions are). Best wishes and I hope I was helpful

I agree don't do it.... You know I mean everybody has their opinions about the Ouija board. But in my experience as a medium. You should never want to open yourself up to spirits that don't come to you naturally or for your highest good. Hello, Vibrating could mean your energy is not in line with your pendulum at that time. Its best to take a little break and try again in a few minutes. Circular motion it depends on the reader and what circular motions mean to you. Some view it as a no response others it is their symbol for yes.

Hello! Some pendulums spin either clockwise or counterclock-wise for yes or no answers. Simply ask it a question that you know the answer to is yes and see which way it spins.

I mean, possibly, if its really off center. However usually when these are made their intention is to be in the dead center, so I cant see that happening very often. Also, when we hold the pendulum, its important to hold it till it falls still, so it should negate any serious drift and you'll be able to tell if it tilts!

If I were in your shoes I would first start by charging the pendulum either In moonlight of a full moon like u can put it in a window seal over night, of u use selenite like she said, second I would cleanse it ( just follow each step in the video ) then hold ur pendulum for a little while focus on putting your energy into it and vice versa the when asking a question make sure to fully believe it will work for you and you ask closed end questions as in the answer to the question would be a yes, no ,maybe , not right now, ask again and so forth ..make sure to stop the pendulum after u get ur answer , and cleanse it after and before each use. From my experience, as long as your pendulum is balanced in weight it should be good. Though regarding contacting someone I would recommend investing in either a digital or physical pendulum board/mat as it will allow for more specific answers further than the standard yes and no.
