Update before 2023 I tried this method and IT IS LEGIT! Now I dont have to worry my Mash Buttons, Analog Stick and use PS4 Controller instead since its durable! This guide is RECOMMENDED! 5/5

This is super cool for those that want to do it. I always love anything that lets peole use wrong controlers on wrong systems. Right now I am using a bluetooth SNES pad adapter, with 8bitdo sn30Pro+ on my Gamecube's gameboy player to play Gameboy games! So bleutooth con troler > bluetooth SNes adapter > Snes to gamecube adapter cable> Gamecube's gameboy player > plays gameboy and GBA games on tv with bluetoth pad in snes mode.

When playing metal gear PS1 or any other games the R2 & L2 buttons do not work do you have a video or any recommendations on to map those buttons on the PS4 controller instead of having to use the touch ones?

I thought my buttons weren't working but for some reason my triggers had swapped with the bumpers so it just makes it harder to play games

I would like an updated video on how to pair a *PS3* controller to the Vita. Never got the Sixaxispairtool software to run. I do not own a PS4 or PS5 because I've been waiting for Gran Turismo 7 to release.

Actually pairing the Dualshock 4 to any Bluetooth device is easy. Just hold Share+PS until the light bar blinks rapidly, then choose Wireless Controller, or Dualshock™4 Wireless Controller on PS4 or PS Vita. As of now the Dualshock 4 works on most devices which support Bluetooth controllers, including Windows 10, iOS 13 or later, Android, Raspberry Pi, Linux, PS4, PS Vita, PS3(with an adapter), PS2(with an adapter), etc.

Hello sir! I just want to know if we can use 3rd party controller for hacked vita. I have a cheap controller and tried to connect it to my hacked vita. It connected but sadly it doesn't work. I want to know if if there's a way that i can make it work. Edit: I already have the ps4vita plug ins installed.

I have loved your videos and appreciate your time on vita videos. I have recently got psvita 1000 and I loved it. I got h-encore and vita shell and auto plug-in ,and the all worked, and then I tried to do sd2vita, and the mod worked the only problem was that now when I try to open vita shell, auto plugin or h-encore they don’t work now it says that the files corrupted. I’m on firmware 3.73 and I followed your vita modding tutorial and I’ve formatted my system and followed your tutorial and it works, until I try to do the sd2vita mod. I guess my point is that I figured that other people might have this problem too Thank you for listening.

You've been a big help in my Vita Mods. Hopefully you can help me with the DS4 problem. When i try to pair up 3 different controllers it says "Could not find a profile supported by this system". Is there a fix for this? Edit - Airplane mode stopped me pairing up. It might not be universal but that was specifically my problem

Awesome! I look forward to trying this once I hook myself up with a modded one. Basically gives the PS1, PSP and Vita the Switch treatment. If possible, can you do an updated 3DS hack soon?

I tried this and it works...for 2 seconds I connected my ps4 controller and it connects but when it dose the ps4 controller only works for 2 seconds Edit:it works now

Hello there... I've been able to connect my Ps4 controller to my psvita thanks to this video.. But i've encountered a problem. My left analogue stick is not working properly.. And i've also noticed that this happens only when im playing games... It works totally fine when im on the live area... I got it to work but then it picks up the controller as a speaker and blasts it at max volume. I can't find a way to turn it down either. It that a glitch on my end or just a weird limitation? I think I could figure out a work around to still get the audio into my computer.

@@blainelocklair it does it without it being connected to my pc for video out. I tried it first before doing that. If I turn the controller off it goes back to internal speaker just fine. I will try to see what happens if I unpair it and do it again

@@blainelocklair yes. and if you have the vita going through a monitor its like a mini retro console plus handheld. if the vita did those 2 functions from the start they probably would have sold A LOT more of them. i wonder if the wireless PS3 controllers will link like this also.

If i knew you could use ds4 on vita, i would not sold my ps4 pro with 2 controller 😭😭, i hope there is ds5vita but i heard there were a problem with it and ds5vita has been deleted after the problematic dev problem too bad..

For future reference, i tried installed ds4vita and ds34vita but when connecting, the controller just won’t showed up, so i googling more about it and on reddit somebody said that you have to installed ds3vita, ds4vita and ds34vita, and BOOM!! It connected and i’m playing vita with my ps5 controller right now! Just need to buy the mount

And remember to disconnect your controller or turn off your bluetooth in your vita, because if you turn off your vita with the controller still connected, your vita just won’t turn off, it stuck on a loop, i had to press the power button for more than 15 seconds until it force shutdown

Im FKING LOST because when i connect via USB to my computer it doesnt appear as a USB drive. It just says "PlayStation Vita" Edit: i didnt realize where it says "select button" is supposed to be set to "USB" as well. THANK YOU IT WORKS 🥳
