I came back to look at this video 2-3 times. It has tons of great info. It is one of the best wood turning videos on KZfaq for teaching how to use a difficult to use tool. Thanks for sharing!!!

To follow up after my other comment. I utilized the information provided in your video and had great success. Further more, it made me more aware of my angles when using my other chisels and I found myself with a lot more control over my cuts. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.

Really helpful and clear. And succinct with no waffle. Sorted my problem with trying to do beads with a 45 degree skew and not seeing the cutting edge. Would be cool to have a few comments about the tool rest height with the same clear explanations.

Too true. 20 years ago I was a skew wizard but going back to it I seem to have forgotten everything. Lost my confidence as a result. Video helps so much!

Is the skew the preferred tool for rolling beads? So far i found it working best. Thank you for the video. There are videos using the skew for concaves... probably not recommend for beginners?
