How to use a wax seal stencil

8 ай бұрынA wax seal stencil is a tool that can help you create a unique edge or lip around your wax seal.
In this video I’ll walk you through how to use one and give you a few tips. I think the biggest tip is making sure you use enough wax to entirely fill the space. It’s going to be almost double the amount of wax than a regular seal. Also, make sure to give lots of cooling time (because you’re using more wax).

Very helpful. I just purchased the same template and instead of filling in the middle, I added hot glue to every edge which ended up being too much. Would love a tutorial when using an embellishment and a blank stamp. After adding the embellishment it would be helpful to know how long to wait before pressing the stamp, and how long to let it cool before removing it from the parchment.

Just a thought, especially using the glue gun. What if you went around the outside of the frame and worked towards the center with the wax? Keep it a bit thinner to allow for push out when inserting the stamp. Might work.
