I've got a 6* Rank 4 Ascended Abs-man, and honestly, I didn't have a clue how to use him. Now I do, and I'm ABS-solutely smashing opponents, lol. Thanks for your help in the video. Please keep the content coming. I like the style of your videos. Others that I've watched are harder to follow as they involve a lot of stopping and starting to read information on how to use the characters properly. Whereas in your videos, you explain how to use the characters whilst you're actually taking part in fights. Which is a lot easier to follow as you can see the real.time effects of the champions' abilities as they take place during the fights. I've just discovered your channel, and I'm definitely subscribed now. I'll be checking out the videos on my fav champs and looking to keep an eye out for videos on all the future characters. Got him 6* r2 undup. Been messing with him. Just doesn't fit my play style unfortunately. I have a few generic awaken but wont use it on him. Have sqautch r3 and hood l2 and i prefer them. Great video on how to use him.

I have him He's god in physical burst damage give light attacks and heavy and then go for special 3 then after that you'll see the max physical burst damage i have him 6* rank 4 180 sigs ascended abs man and he is so good...

Great job Sim. I understand now. Can’t seem to pause. I feel I’m doing light intercepts. I don’t see the pause. Also basic question. But how do you bait heavy’s? I understand the concepts now at least. I can’t at least get almost to an sp2, then throw 2 sp1 to get a refined form. Until I get better. Definitely some skill. Like spot. If I get an iDoom ever, hope he’s easier 😂 Intercepting with a light should pause, correct?

Intercepting with a light will pause as long as you are actually in a form. Buffs expiring or receiving a debuff he's immune to will also pause. The special you use should match the form you're in. SP1 for Uru, SP2 for Magma. I bait heavies by just holding block!

The AI is so bad for champs that “rely” on movements to up keep. Kabam seem to have made champs kits more like this so is to take advantage of the super passive AI we have had for like a year now.

It takes some practice but isn't totally necessary. Give him a relic, use the striker, and then heavy cancel into a special from the striker stun!

I’ve got a 6 star R2 Abs Man but I’m struggling with the rotation of him and I keeper getting clapped all the time. I definitely need to do better with him.

The light intercepts absolutely require practice. Remember that his form is paused not only from an immunity triggering, but also when any buff expires. So in ideal matchups (Terrax, Annihilus, Hulkling) you don't necessarily need to worry about the intercepting.

For sure - it will definitely take some practice. The good news is that light intercepts are way safer so if the opponent doesn't go for it, you almost always have time to block.

I just got abs man and gave a mystic gem to him and planned to rank 4 him but there's a tiny problem... I didn't really liked this guy I mesn his playstile is goo difficult, is bassically Hercules but with light hots instead of med, that's the difficult, herc has provoke and light hits sre easier to intercept... Lights and without provoke well... too risky Got really upset with this one lol I expected better from him Will still be practicing but for now his abilities dont convince me at all and his damage doesn't last enough

Definitely not! I would consider ranking a more standard mystic first though. AM is great but he lacks typical mystic mechanics like buff removal and buff prevention.

This is not meant to be a max damage showcase, just a how to! In matchups where you can stack the Vulnerability passives up to 5 and then heavy cancel into a special, the damage is pretty great. Check out BMcG's unboosted Gauntlet Terrax solo to see what I mean. Also keep in mind that typically when a champ is heavy on utility (in this case, many immunities and the ability to automatically shorten buff duration) that damage typically suffers as a result. I don't feel like that's the case here. He feels very powerful!

He’s ok with them. You can be immune to the bleed by default and to the poison with a synergy, but you’re gonna be spamming specials to stay refined and in non-ideal fights it will be difficult to get enough morph charges to regen the recoil damage.

His form pauses with light intercepts, but also when he’s immune to anything and when a buff ends on the defender. So you have some options on how to keep the form up
