Some of FL Studio's stock synths are the hardest synths I have ever tried to figure out. I find serum and vital make a lot more sense.

Knowing how a synth works really help. I often switch off one or two sounds in Omnisphere to make the sound less complex and more usable or layer sounds to make a preset that's more interesting. I play around with modulation now and then.

Got a Moog subsequent 25 on sale. Wanted something that can fit my studio and cut through my mixes for leads and basses. It also has software which will help my workflow with my DAW 👍

@@NavieD Sure has! I already have a Korg Minilogue XD so I'm familiar with designing solid subtractive synthesis sounds. But, I wanted that nasty grit for bass/leads and finally feel like I have that with the Moog

Super helpful! Haven't dove into the modulation of my synths yet. When watching videos on how to make certain sounds they always move so fast and don't explain what they are doing when dragging LFO's or filters onto something. Need to play around with it to educate myself farther for sure. Great vid my friend!
