This video doesn't show how to crank the lever. We were watching to try and figure out how to use the crank because our model keeps contacting the metal bar and won't rotate fully.

Just ran into this issue! You need to put the crank on the left side. Place the load side of the strap on the top bump of the red bar and then turn it counter-clockwise to lock it down. Directions said nothing about this. Maddening.

This video was intended to demo the straps. You use an appliance dolly on the stairs in the same manner as a regular hand truck. We actually suggest using appliance dollies on stairs, instead of hand trucks, as the strap provides increased security. Take it slow, one step at a time, and have one or two spotters. For very large items, extra spotters are helpful. We also suggest the spotters count out how many more steps, so the person pushing the dolly knows how far until they reach the top/bottom. If at any time it becomes too heavy, let your spotters know. Stop and reposition yourselves. Thanks for the great question!

Agreed with everyone. No step by step/close up/detail on the strap? They have to know that’s the main thing people are looking for. The stuff the video put too much focus on are really basic things people know already.

I set both levers to "lock", and when I let go after tightening it. It comes loose, what am I doing wrong?
