What if you don't have a push to start button? Are you supposed to just turn the key to the on position?

The cal ID on my tune does not match the cars and preventing tune from installing do I need a revised tune with a corrected cal ID to unlock my ecu?

No, theyre tuning a supra. For brz/frs its 2 presses of the start button for the ON position.

Is it possible to edit the tables yourself? I'm planning on getting a cheap beater car that I don't mind blowing up to practice some tuning with a friend's dyno.

@@Alpheamus OFT (Open Flash Tablet) and ROM editor will allow you to mess with tunes. But this is completely separate from Ecutek

My Supra had been tuned with Ecutek before, but I believe the previous owner or the dealership that sold it to me kept it and sold it on their own. If i we're to buy another ecutek do I need to repurchase the license or no, since it's already had one?

So How do I go in and turn the Boost up Maybe add some timing?? You just showed us how to flash the ECU from one Tune to another But How do you Tune.. Anyone can follow instructions on a flash to a Better Map, OR How do I make or Improve my own Map to flash to the car??? I spent all that extra money for this software and don't even know how to use it.. And I have Long Been Ghosted by my Tuner, Or "Flasher I should say.." We turned my 2011 Juke SL AWD CVT from 148 WHP on AWD Mustang Dyno, up to 248 WHP on the DYNO with a simple Unlock and Flash to a 17LB Boost cut tune..

If you're worried about the warranty of your car, we'd highly recommend you do not modify it as this can cause your dealership to deny your claim.

now don't hold me to this because I might be wrong but there might be a way to reverse settings to factory if they say a tune did void your warranty. Doing physical mods however might actually void your warranty. Again i might be wrong about it but just thought I might give some idea.

@@2cool0 save the stock tune in a folder and just reflash it to stock the ecu might be able to tell them if it’s flashed tho I’m not sure

@@therandomrobert1842 The dealer knows because they can read the flash count so even if you flash back to stock they will notice an unusual number of flashes on the counter

Do you need to have the laptop plugged in to log? Isn't there a Bluetooth version dongle? I heard you can log with your phone as it saves the log in the dongle or something until you pull it onto the laptop?

If you get the Bluetooth, you'll also need to download the Proecu (EcuTek) app which is free than you can datalog from your phone otherwise you'll have to keep the laptop connected to datalog.

I got my Bluetooth dongle. I had the car tuned by a former ecutek tuner in the area. He no longer exists. Can I send maps to my ecu as an end user? Or do I need a dealer liscence? I just looking ton load the pop and bang ROM4 map to my GTR

My 2017 brz didn't need to be unlocked. Maybe it's the same with 2018s.

So the crazy part is I have the whole kit, I can do laptop or phone, I am on a 17lb boost cut tune that suchs.. I can't find anyone on the net to sell me a stage 3 map for a Nissan Juke.. All I want is some timing and 19/20 lbs of boost I can't find anyone with a good juke Map for full bolt ons from beginning to the end.. Can't find anyone to get on a phone and flash my car to beast mode.. GOT The Cash............................................ SMH..I guess I'm gonna have to put a boost t in to give me 3 more lb's.. I am already sticking the wastegate line with pin holes.. SMH..
