If u buy good brand psu like meanwell or mournsun then 10amp is enough. If u buy even cheaper than that then buy 20amp. Do not use wagoo terminals for the power. These amps are power hungry & will easily melt the terminal.

i know but i use with small power adapter for testing also don't need max out the stereo for this moment

Hello bro, I am thinking of making a same setup like yours for home listening. I have 2 spare car speakers thst I want to drive with an amp. The main confusion is internet telling that smps type adapters will eventually die out versus transformer based ones. Do you know if this is true?

@@basu_104 the smps power my stereo is over 15yrs old at this point and an off band china special. i had repaired it few times, once a set of bjt had blownout and at 12yr mark all the capacitors had failed. this is expected behavior for the type of cheap 400rs smps 12v 20amp smps i am using. if you got more budget you can always invest in a high quality 12v 20amp smps made by meanwell , delta or others and get 10-15 years of reliable operation. its 2024 not 1980 , no one should use a linear powersupply that is waste of electricity + transformers are expensive as they use a lot of copper. cheap aluminium transformers are even worse and there is arguably less reliability from a cheap transformer. so go with meanwell 12v 10-20amp smps. you can buy a 12v 12.5a 150w meanwell smps from robu .in for 1750rs or 17a 204w for 2100rs , and that would be more than enough for any 12v 50w x4 car stereo from known brands like sony pioneer jvc kenwood.

@@rajinder2251ydyeydf hello..i am using 12v power bank and through that i am supplying it power..usually battery in the powerbank help save clock and settings for 7-8 hours ..you can decrease battery consumption by switching off clock in standby mode..thanks

true its very low wattage for car stereo , i just test them out with 1 amp adapter , you should go with 12v 5 amp
