Users be worn, I am an iPhone 11 user and I’ve been a public beta tester for many, many years through many iPhones. My iPhone 11 did the battery calibration and after a few weeks it said to get my battery serviced. After contacting Apple and going directly to the Apple store THE BATTERY REPLACEMENT WAS NOT FREE. I had to pay $70 to get it replaced. ONLY when the calibration is complete if your Apple message says that Apple would replace your battery for free is only when they will replace it with no charge. If not you have to pay.

My iphone 11 is already 1 year old yet very disappointing since it already reaches to 77% battery capacity. My daily used of my phone is 4-5 hrs. I don't play online games, just social medias typically facebook, ig, twt yt and snap. Today, I just updated it into ios 14.6 and hopefully it will increase the battery capacity. I'm a bit nervous, if this phone needs a battery replacement, I'm totally broke rn. Any thoughts about this? I'll update here if there's any changes after i updated it. Update: July 23, 2021 - My battery capacity increased from 77% to 89%.

I have an iPhone 11 with a 5w factory charger and a factory cord and they are all original and it takes between 2:30 minutes to 3 hours at times to charge from death to 100% It is also strange that most of the time when I turn it off, for example, it is 30% and then it jumps to 40% after turning it on My battery quality is 86%. Can anyone explain this issue because I am starting to doubt that my phone will die soon

For me initially my battery health on my 11 dropped to 92% in just 5 months after this update it recalibrated and I’m now at 99% its working, but it takes different times for every phone, I got my recalibration in 13 days approx while my brother got it in 22 days, I’m pretty happy with it and battery life is good too. So, I just learned how to check my battery health a few days ago, and when I did I got the "battery health is significantly degraded" message. Since I have already upgraded to iOS 16.1.1, do I assume that the recalibration has occurred and adjusted to my usage, or might it not have been calibrated as it should have, and would I have been notified by email or some such way? Yes same here I m using I phone Xr and within 8 months my I phone battery health is 90% it’s loosing 2% instead of 1% example battery health is 100% after some months it drops to 98%

Seems like lots of people are unable to understand what this update is all about. Guys, this update will recalibrate the battery health reading, so it means it will report your battery health more accurately. It does NOT mean that it will fix your battery problems. If your real battery health is 80% but your phone is showing 85%, then after the recalibration, the reading will be accurate and will show 80%. I don’t understand how a lot of people are expecting the update to boost the health 😐. Dumb people indeed

i just recently replaced the battery of my 7 plus and it’s been dying fairly quickly, it’s an original apple battery btw. it drains even faster than my previous seven. i saw on the internet that ios takes some time to get used to new batteries so i need to wait a few weeks and things would get back to normal? i also saw that i needed to recalibrate the battery (charge it from 0-100 and let it drain back to 0, thrice) to get ios to read the battery percentage well? please i’m so confused what do i do and what’s true and what isn’t?

@@mervinjoseph3379 from day one never let the phone go below 30% so I would plug in anytime around 30 and %40 and unplug it when it hits 85% or 90% occasionally you can take it to 100% if you are out for a longer day. Basically whenever you have an opportunity to keep the phone topped up do. If I am driving and only have as example 48% I plug it in. This way you keep the battery healthy without the stress if an entire cycle.
