How To Use Artemis R6.2 with EVILNAT 4.88.2 CFW Tutorial (2021)

Күн бұрынToday's video is a quick one. I show an overview of how to use Artemis R6.2, which is basically a cheat program for popular PS3 games. I can't guarantee all cheats work, so you are going to have to try it out with your favorite games and see what works or what doesn't.
I'm using 4.88.2 EVILNAT CFW, and I installed .pkg file using the package file manager. So mount your game disc, run Artemis, select whatever cheats, start your game, press START to make sure Artemis is attached, and have fun!

Favorite? That's tough. My top 3 are probably Uncharted 2, Bioshock, and Batman Arkham City. Also I still play COD: Modern Warfare 2 on the PS3. I want to get all my multiplayer unlocks before they eventually shut down the servers.

I prefer dex but there is no dex on latest version. 4.84.2 rebug dex is the best, no lite crap hehe

@@ProjectPhoenixMedia hell yeah, 100% That's the exact firmware I'm using on my slim PS3, I use the debugger alot so I genuinely do *need* DEX. My devkits are on rebug too actually, those are technically DEH though but still gotta love those rebug firmwares

Great tutorial video as alway keep up the good work. I have a question concerning the Evilnat, can you please make a video of how to use it and is it worth using instead of the Rebug?

I only use it because it's only one that can go online without using Sen Enabler. Rebug is good if you are into mod menus

Is Artemis only intended for certain game file types? I have a variety of files on my CFW PS3 but the cheats only seem to work randomly!

It's hit or miss and depends on game version. Some cheats may work if it's the A oB cheat, your mileage will vary

hey man. thanks for the info about the new Artemis R6.2 update. but have to say ive been having problems ver.R6.2. and i had to delete it and go back to ver 1. some of the codes that worked on ver 1 did not work on ver 2. when i went to demon soul on the cheat menu. it froze when i tried to see the codes. had to reset my ps3 . hope other players are having a better time with the update. oh just to let you player know im using hen. so i dont know if other player on CFW. is having the same problems.

Thanks for the update, I haven't tested many games personally but good to know if something doesn't work, revert to an older version.

How did you make this work using Webman? The last time I tried this my console crashed. Only on multiman I could get this to work. I'm on HEN, btw.

Can't comment on HEN, but this was done with CFW. I think I used the latest webman mod from either store.brewology.com or the github...but if neither works for you then multiman is next best solution.

I installed CFW evilant 4.90. previously had HFW hen 4.90. my modz don't work anymore. It opens at the beginning of the game and then nothing works. just playing normally. why is it? Do I have to reinstall the modz again?

Is there a way to add your own cheats to Artemis? Some of the games do not have functional cheats or they only have afew that área not that useful

I suggest you re-confirm the package file is installed correctly. It should have the cheats (or see if you need to update). My cheat list definitely is not empty and has a lot of games to pick from.

It's been awhile but isn't there a online database cheats update function? I could have sworn after installing the pkg file then upon first run, it connects online to download additional updates as needed.

Not sure what to say, I tried this recently for batman game and it was working fine, maybe it doesn't work with all games especially if not specific game update or region is different than what artemis is looking for.

I'm on Evilnat 4.90 and I never get the notification "Artemis PS3 - Start to attach", so with no surprise it never works. Does it work with disc versions ? Do we have to install something else like webman or multiman ? Do we have to deactivate Cobra or anything else ? I don't understand why I never get the notification on the top right side.

Maybe best to ask on psx-scene forums. I tested this only for games running off internal hard drive or usb, not from a disc. Not sure if that is a factor or not.

@@ProjectPhoenixMedia It's ok it's working now, I had to change some settings in Webman, we just have to tick the box where it says "Artemis". After that, it was good. Thanks for answering.

Try older version 6.1 or older possibly. Maybe conflict with webman mod, try loading games with multiman.

For PS1 and PS2 roms its completely different. From what I've seen, you need to burn the cheat app itself to PS1/PS2 game you're gonna use

I could, short answer is put in new hard drive and reinstall new cfw, then reinstall your apps and games
