Doctors are trustworthy and they have an immense knowledge. The issue is that healthcare is a generalisation and more focused on symptoms than causes. Unless you are rich and can afford a personal doctor or are lucky enough to get one of the few that goes above and beyond than they simply don't have the time or resources to delve deep into your history to work out the root cause which could take many hours and many tests. For the most part they operate by a system where they may take some visual/physical cues, input the symptoms you have and the system computes the most common medication to treat those symptoms. It works for most people and will often cure the underlying cause but some things are simply to complex and varied for that system to be adequate. Some things like indigestion or chronic diarrhoea for example can be multifaceted and different between individuals with the exact same symptoms. To narrow down the exact cause might take 10 hours of one on one appointments and a dozen tests - it's simply outside the practicality of most doctors to dedicate that much time to a single patient. However I do wish they were more willing to allow patients to self diagnose and listen to what they think might be the issue and medicate accordingly. It's very rare to find a doctor that is willing to ignore the system and genuinely consider the patients thoughts as an individual.

Right I am tired of doctors they have their purpose but I've been prescribed three different medications for high blood pressure. Doctors just keep giving me medication to lower the blood pressure which makes me want to lay on the couch all day what kind of life is that ? I have developed arterial sclerosis in the arteries leading to my kidneys, and after much desperation I found out about K2 D3 and magnesium and the ability to restore plasticity to my arteries no doctor wants to hear anything about anything they didn't learn in college which is pretty much everything. Physicians are too busy keeping everyone coming in who are healthy every 2 months to make sure they don't develop something instead of treating those who need help. So they're Band-Aids are pills chemicals, which are foreign to the body but make big Pharma so happy. This is what you get from the Healthcare System. Just my humble opinion

@@retsaMinnavoiGthe misconception is that these pharmaceutical drugs cure simply because they reduce symptoms & the patient may feel better temporarily but they do not! Aside from an antibiotic to cure an infection but for the most part these drugs do not cure.

If you take 300mg like right now and another 300 before sleep- just make sure you have room for 7 or 8 hours of rest, your body likely needs it- you will notice a difference within a day. When my grandmom was about 68. I told her that studies provided "evidence" that daily aspirin would reduce her risk of stroke. She was in fairly good health. She spoke to her doctor who put her on a daily regimen, which she adhered to for 16 yrs. At the age of 84, she was told her kidneys were badly damaged (by the use of the aspirin) and was taken off the aspirin. A few months later, I got wind of a study that said long term use of aspirin was no longer recommended. It is to my eternal regret that I didn't leave her to manage her health with her traditional /natural remedies, now that I realise how many "studies" are funded by corporations that skew data to fit their narrative. There is a reason that certain herbal remedies last beyond the few months or couple of years of a fad and have transcended generations for hundreds of years.

FYI aspirin is just the concentrated form of a natural occurring herbal substance that was used in traditional medicine for thousands of years. It absolutely does have benefits though and it potentially prolonged her life as well despite it eventually causing kidney damage which may have occurred anyway. Although it seems it's regular use might be less positive in women and more positive in men.

For years, dealt with ever changing work and home situation and schedules, irregular diet, little to no exercise, barely sleeping, living off coffee- and infertility. Chronic stress is insidious. Since taking this I've been able to sleep through the night, no more anxiety that causes me to cry unnecessarily, and able to cultivate some self discipline.. not the kind that comes from running yourself ragged but the fulfilling kind. Getting marriage together and hoping to be blessed with children❤ If you are struggling, this can really be so supportive.

@@AnneAlready I took it after ive had my dinner. BUT hear me out. It depends on a few factors. Ashwagandha has both relaxing and stimulating properties so basically you have to try it out how it works for you. You don't want to disrupt your sleeping cycle too right. But I've felt it to get me to the relaxing mode so i consume it at night. One of the main property that ashwagandha does, is to reduce cortisol, and if thats the case we could consider taking it in the morning as cortisol is high after the waking up. Next main thing to consider is what form of ashwagandha you're using. If its root powder (be it in tablet/capsule or just the powder itself) then you must consume it with some fat source like dairy, nuts, eggs etc....as most of the active compounds of ashwagandha are fat soluble. Best thing to do is to take it with a meal and forget it. Or you could consume it with milk(you can add some sugar or honey too) Now if the form you are taking is an extract like ksm 66 (which i would prefer more) it doesn't matter you can just consume it at your convenience...but i would still take it with a meal. I took it for 2 to 3 months, took a break for 1 or one and a half months. I've used both root powder and the switched to Unived ksm 66 ashwagandha. I don't if its available at your place. Just get one from a reputable brand.

I stopped taking Ashwagandha after I read that it could cause issues with the liver. Considering that I was having liver problems, I opted to instead try other adaptogens. I don't take my adaptogens before work because it makes me too mellow and more importantly, it makes time go by too slowly. Taking it after work has been agreeable for me.

I couldn't agree more with everything said, and what the FDA approves i wouldn't trust. I bought some Ashwagandha a few months ago. I reacted badly to Anaesthetic years ago, developed physcial and mental health issues, literally damaged my body, still is and years later still finding a way to recover as the results has left me with ME/CFS but only discovered a couple of years ago what caused it. and i discovered it because of what happened over the last 3 years and certain interventions i stayed away from but saw the affects to others. It finally clicked. Ashwagandha is helping my low mood and blood sugar levels.

I took it for stress and my sleep really improved. But a big downside ( the only downside for me) was low mood. It really made me feel flat in the day and I was taking it just at night. I had to stop after a week. Once I did, my sleep took a while to regulate but I definitely didn't feel depressed. I think we all have different responses to things and for me, Ashwaganda was a success for sleep and reducing stress but bad for feeling really quite depressed aswell.

I used this and it caused great damage to my liver. At first I did not know it was hurtful to my liver and I liked it. My first symptom was being dizzy. Then I had the most horrific itching on my palms and feet, and then all over. Ashwaganda is serious, serious medication even though it is an herb. My bilirubin skyrocketed. I was in the hospital 23 days straight. Over a year later and I am still healing. Be VERY CAUTIOUS of ASHWAGANDA. I think Dr. Berg is very helpful too, but be CAUTIOUS ABOUT ASHWAGANDA. Your liver is more precious and must not be damaged or you will die. I almost did. Be CAUTIOUS OF ASHWAGANDA.

As a supplement manufacturer, our only piece of advice around Ashwagandha is that if you already have low cortisol levels it may not be for you. It can really help people that have to work or live with a lot of constant pressure and are feeling the burn from it. We generally recommend 5 days on, 2 days off and every 6 weeks take a week off. If you experience any of the 'emotionless' side effects from it then lower the dosage. If it still continues after that then stop taking it.

@@vanitagomes3794 hello, dear! This is what I want you suggest to you. Look up some of Dr Berg's videos on eating Keto and Intermittent Fasting. I did not learn about these from Dr Berg but do watch his videos and have learned alot. I also follow Dr Ken Berry(he's where I learned about Keto and IF). All I can tell you is make it a way of eating. 1 ingredient foods, no processed stuff. To be truthful, I still use sugar in my tea and eat Ezekiel Bread(not every day). I exercise daily and get at least 8 hours of sleep. I've been doing this for about 3 years. I've gone from XL 18/20 to Petite Med 8/10. I've never gotten on a scale, just know by the fact I have to buy new clothes. The huge thing for me is I'm rarely hungry, don't snack at all and don't eat my emotions. That has been huge. Do some research, find what you like to eat and get started. I go out to eat at least 2 times a week and find things I like. At my age, with no kids and being retired, there's no reason I can't do it. And you can too. Once you start eating Keto and Fast your body will respond. I hope I have encouraged you. I thank God that I found the information that has helped me. It is my way of eating now for the reat of my life. 🙏 💪 ♥
