4 crits in a row on 15% chance means 0.15^4 = 0.0005 = 0.05% chance = the odds of 1/2000

That’s not how that works, if you have a 15% chance to crit it will always be 15% over any quantity. Same reason if I gamble in roulette on black with a 50% chance, no matter if I gamble 12 times or 1 time it will always be a 50% chance. Quantity doesn’t play a variable in chance (%).

@@psymatik2064lol that’s not how probability works. If you flip a coin 100 time you’re not gonna have a 50% chance to get heads 100 times in a row. His math is correct, he’s not trying to say the odds exponentially decrease

The rate was even lower because how crit works is that if you don't crit, the more likely the next one will crit. And crit rate increase that "more likely"

I had an enemy Trynda that crit 7 times in a row with 35% crit. He still lost lane. 0.06% chance of him critting like that. But you had a 0.007% of hitting those 5 in a row. That is insane.

Just so everyone knows the odds of what getting a critical strike off with 15% critical strike chance 5 times consecutively is: 0.0076%. That means if he attempted an experiment where he intentionally tried to crit a dummy 5 times in a row, out of 100,000 tries he would potentially only hit 5 consecutive crits 7-8 times in total. Thats why that clip is so insane. He won one of the potentially most lucky outcomes in league from a champion (who isnt trynd.)
