I am joining the Creative Design Team today for this month's Video Collaboration and it's all about CREATIVE WAYS TO USE BUSY PAPER! I know we ALL have those pattern papers that we LOVE but they seem so "busy" when we sit down to use them. This week, the Creative Design Team will tackle these pretty (but busy) papers and hopefully inspire you to USE THEM instead of just looking at them. In this video, I will show you a couple of methods to break up the busy patterns using cardstock.

So many ideas here!!!!! Great job :D The using of solid cardstock really does help soften and breakup the bold or busy prints, and also helps highlight photos or titles!! :D

Love all the tips with the separation of the patterns with a solid colour. I need to remember this sanding tip - I always think of it after I've stuck everything down! Thanks for showing the different effects from different sanding blocks/tools - I need a trip to the hardware store!

That one from the hardware store is MY FAVORITE on Sapphire cardstock for blue jeans...it truly looks like distressed jeans :0)

These are just 4x6 prints cut down to 4x4 but for all my other smaller photos I use PicMonkey. I will have a tutorial posted this weekend so be sure to check back to learn how :0)
