This is my ultimate guide for beginners on exactly how to use cones in Fortnite. Whenever you get on the game as a new player. Learning how to use cones the right way in the game can be a little difficult. This is the best tutorial I have made for beginners for how to use cones like a pro. yo Beano any thoughts on why my pump shotgun doesn’t shoot the second of third shot. It’s never misfired on the first shot but anytime I am in a 1v1 with a pc player or a ps5 player my shotgun doesn’t shoot at all the second or sometimes the third shot? It’s not because i’m loading it and my controller is so new my dead zone is 5 percent without any stick drift. Everyone keeps saying it’s blume but nobody can elaborate any further. The best explanation I have ever heard for anything on controller was the difference between linear and exponential. It took a year until someone said it where it made since. exponential starts out slow and the speed gradually increases and linear starts out full speed and it’s full speed or no movement at all making linear feel like your playing on ice and much harder to make minor adjustments but your flick shots hit better. I have no idea what blume is or what i can do to make it stop. Nobody ever does videos explaining blume , what it is , what causes it to happen and things you can do to make it happen less. It really sucks when you pull your trigger 3 times and your gun shoots one or two times and your opponent pop off 5 shots before you can get any consistency

Generally just open with the basic piece depending on your angle, dragging in cones & whatever walls you can grab without exposing yourself- then whether you complete it, go for the shot or reset it, depends on your HP, your enemies HP/position & potential 3rd parties. 1. You're full HP, enemy low & sniffing your wall- go for the kill, then if you miss then go for the full piece or if you feel you're likely to miss, go for the full piece. 2. You're full, enemy low & trying to get out- full piece then go for the kill. 3. You're low, enemy full, keep sliding cones to cut them off, & slow them down so you can heal/escape, don't take any unecessary peeks. Watch some pro players early/mid set lobby tournament fights & take note of when they piece- it'll vary from player to player, controller players for example are more likely to try to finish with a 50:50 than to full piece as they don't have the fast flicky movement to grab the final wall all the time but do have aim assist.

For the NON gmk or max users... having your cone on caps lock or shift... leaves your essential fingers open but allows placing cones from any movement position. fact... by hateful old guy

I really liked the live commentary gameplay! It’s much easier for me too learn as a beginner in a real match. It reminds me of sypherpk’s educational commentary’s he used to do back in the day
