Is it just plain water? That's what I've been using, but I don't want to mess up the pallet if I'm wrong.

@@kixxenwalla167 Yes. It says plain water. I use 1 drop instead of 3 tho. Idk if a setting spray will mess it up in the long run or not🤷🏽‍♀️

I opened mine last night and it wouldn't swatch so I looked on the box and it literally says to wet it to use it as paint. if a makeup influencer doesn't even look at the box as basic practice they are dumb af lmao

@@666blackcarbon9 Or using a spray bottle, making the formula too thin and ruining the other colors. I saw a creator try to trash Danessa over it I'm like, "Gurl no one told you to hose down your $140 palette."

That’s how they’re designed to be used. So, maybe, but in the same way driving on your tires ruins them. It’s basic wear and tear from use.

Hello, I'm commenting here because I need help with those! I can't get them to be opaque at all! I add water, turn a bit in them, and I need to put like 5 layers to have a bit of opacity... Is it because they're brand new and need a bit of work to get past the "first layer"? I'm a bit frustrated cause I would like to use those as a liner or something and I feel like it's impossible :(

I’m so sorry to hear that! Did you let the water sit for a bit so that it starts to really sink into and activate the pigments? Are you trying to use it as a liner or all over shadow?

Ahm, putting mixing medium into the entire pan doesn't look like a good idea, it looks like it would set the entire pan after one use when it dries 😬 Or is it literally just water? 😀

It's just water :)! I definitely wouldn't recommend a mixing medium for the reason you said :). The best thing to do is only add a HINT of water first and let it sit for a moment so it can start to soften the pigments, then stir :)
