Hey Justin! Do you figure out how to automatically set cue points in Djay ai? Or is there a way to import them from Mixed in Key? Thank you!

Hi welcome and unfortunately you will have to start over with cue points

If you use the Heavy Hits DJ pool to download your music, a lot of the tracks will already be cue’d for you on djay pro- some on DJ city as well. Kind of freaked me out at first 😂😂😂

Hey guys! Actually I tried this and it works: Playlist in iTunes i processed in Mixed in Key and export it for serato. I have installed Serato light, don’t know if it’s necessary. And in Djay app in craters section same playlist was updated with new info and automatically added cue points. So as a solution it can work too. Thank you for your suggestion!

@@GrandArtBallet Yes, djay reads serato cues/crates. You need serato. I always try to avoid MIK cues - they’re not very use-able in a live mix setting

Hey Spiegel, WHy is it that in my Rane 70 mixer, automix outputs the master sound to only the left deck (Ch1 fader), even when it is the right deck playing on djay? I would be there thinking CH2 fader 2 is the one to use to bring up or down the volume, but, alas! This makes it very difficult to find which deck I should put my headphone cue to listen to the next track. This is not the case with Hercules 500

Is there a way to create a playlist, set the cues and always have the songs on the playlist cue the same exact way even after you close the app?

Yes it does it automatically if you are using the same devices (so if you make playlists and cue points on your ipad it it will be the exact same next time you use the app on the same iPad)

It won’t auto mix. I have to click the >| button to advance to next track in playlist…how do you get it to auto mix…play next track in the playlist???
